I am very upset! I just left there-have been going to this place for YEARS! I was so excited to see that T was back from Florida, but started to have a pedicure with a new nail tech-young man-and was giving him a lot of grace, bc he was going through the motions, but not actually removing cuticle, ingrowns or callus --so timid to touch me. I encouraged him throughout the process to get in there and not be shy, but he continued with the scrub on my legs and barely massaged. I told him politely, but suddenly I needed to leave. And they were going to charge me $50 for a pedicure that I DID NOT receive! I fussed abt it and they ended up charging me $40-of which I still do not feel is fair given I essentially only had gel toenail polish removed. Needless to say, I'll never be back read more

The owner was very rough on my nails, and wasn't conscientious. He was constantly attending to the phone and to other guests coming in, so it wasn't a very relaxing experience. I've witnessed this other times as well, and it would be nice if they had a receptionist. He left with gel glued to my skin, and my fingers were so raw that it took 3 weeks to heal back to normal. It was really disappointing because I was getting my nails done for engagement photos. I've had rough nails techs before, but nothing like this. If you go, I suggest asking for Cho or his son, they are gentle perfectionists. read more

So far the experience has been wonderful. I requested a spa pedi. The price was reasonable. The technicians speak very professionally. They wear uniforms. I recommended Shelby S. Shelby opened a freshly sanitized tool kit. The stations are cleaned and equipment well cared for. They do not use the cheese grader thing only the scrubby pad. She didn't remove my running callouses just smoothed them. The massage was very relaxing and enjoyable. I read all of the reviews and noticed that even the low ones still included a line about returning which is why I decided to come. read more

First time here, new set. They were the 3rd nail salon I've tried since moving to TN from CA, They had to remove badly done acrylic nails before they could put on a new set, I have to say it didn't hurt at all getting the grossly overly thick nails off. I believe I've found my go to place for nails, yay. I would definitely recommend making an appt before you go, they get busy. *** Not so good the second time, same lady doing my nails did not listen, my nails were crooked and totally the wrong shape. I asked her to fix them she said she would, but after 2 hoursnof trying to fix my fill I finally just left sorry to say I won't be back. The few times I have been in they are always busy. That's a good thing I guess. I always peak in to see if they are overwhelmed and ask if I needed to come back another time and the owner usually honest that it would be a good idea. If not they would get me seated right away for a pedi. They have exceptionally a good amount of different colors to choose from and lots of different Gel polish colors to also choose. Usually when you walk into a nail salon it would hit you with that acrylic smell, but this place I was surprisingly that didn't effect me there. They either had a good ventilation system or they just didn't have anyone needing acrylic that day. Service was okay. Having my feet and legs massage was the best part then the pedi. read more

Yes, I'm a guy reviewing a nail place. What can I say, it's hard to bend down and scrub my feet. This place is the best. The lady next to me had so much trust, she let the nail tech choose colors. Massages are really what get me coming back. It's a joy and pleasure to have someone else do things for you. So to contradict myself, I am going to stop this guilty pleasure, because it actually makes me less attractive because then people think I'm a jerk, when I'm not. I can do it myself. Went in to get my fill and a pedi walked in they had me sign in then told me to pick a color so I did then the guy walks up to me and tells me how much the color was I picked out would be because I picked out a" Chrome " it was going to be an extra 20 dollars to do that color so I said ok then fine I'll just done gel and asked how much that would be and said it would be 55 dollars just for my fill. That is just ridiculous so after I walked out I called the salon and asked the prices and funny enough the guy on the phone told me the fill was 21 dollars? Hmm that doesn't sound right to me but obviously they just didn't want to service me so they raised the price. I would highly recommend not getting any services here! read more

It is the day before my wedding, so my fiance, her sister, and their mother went to get mani/pedis, and we had a terrible experience. My fiances wanted to get gel French tips, but they acted confused and basically told her that what she wanted was wrong. After that they said they could do what she wanted, and super failed. she wanted a natural look, but the tips are uneven, some are straight, some are bowed. As they were doing her nails very poorly, she noticed that a hair got into one of them and when she asked them about it, multiple people told her it wasn't there and it took her 20 minutes of insisting it was there for them to redo the nail. Next, was her sister. She wanted a deep red color to match for nails and toes. she loved the color selected for her toes, but the lady picked out one she thought would match for her fingers. Once applied the color did not match and was too light of a color. She told the lady she didn't like the color and the lady said she was wrong. She let her finished then told the initial lady who picked out the color and told her it didn't match, and that she wanted to take it off. The initial lady told her that it was her fault for the color being wrong and that she will still charge her for the full mani. absolutely terrible experience and no respect for the fact our wedding was the next day read more

I really enjoyed my experience here. My nails were exactly what I wanted. It wasn't busy, so they were able to my sister and I as soon as we arrived. All in all it took my nail tech about 15-20mins to put on a full set. I was expecting a more pampering experience. Maybe be offered a glass of wine that I saw on the wall, but she seemed to be distracted by people coming through the door. I'll will keep using this salon. The people were lovely. read more

I got my nails done on 05/09/19.. the guy was very nice but should not have done my nails. I asked for dip powder coffin shaped nails. Nothing crazy at all just a regular pink. It took 2.5 hours!! This would be fine if they came out looking perfect but they were so bad. You could see through the dip where the tip was placed on. My nails were bumpy, shaped poorly, crooked, and just over all they looked horrible. I felt so bad that the guy took long and they STILL looked horrible. At this point I just wanted to get out of there. I paid $51, plus a tip for these horrible nails. After I went home I couldn't stand to keep my nails like this. I went to Bella nails where they took off the shit show that was on them and redid my nails in 30 minutes!!! They came out much better. I called the next day for a refund and they refused. So I will be posting this on any site they promote on as well as telling all my friends. Good job T salon Way to loose a bunch of customers! I will be posting the shit job they did as well as my new nails that Bella salon did. Do yourself a favor and go to Bella salon first. read more

I have been going here for years, I have had difficulty this last visit. Nails cracking, nail split, and then one came off. went in to get it fix and had to take my 2 year old with me this visit T was very rude to my son. called him again the next day because nail came off, he said he would not fix it I have to wait for the one who put it on to fix it. First time coming here. I decided this is where my bridesmaid, mothers, and I would come. There was a total of 8 of us. I called 2 weeks in advance to make an appointment and she said they would make sure they were staffed so they can focus on my wedding party. Some got manis, some got pedis, some got just polish. Pedi was nice and chairs are comfy and nice. There were 4 techs working. I made the appointment for 10am so they wouldnt be too busy. Long story short we were there for a little over 3 hours. My mother was the last one they got to AFTER taking 2 walk ins before her. My nails and toes looked great for the wedding but 3 days later I could see lifting around the edges. One of my bridesmaids nails chipped the next day (french mani) I am 3 days away from it being two weeks since and they are still all hanging on but some a lot less than others. Perk: Free glass of whine, speak English well, ambiance is relaxing. I would go back for a pedi anytime but probably not with a wedding party or for my nails to be done. read more

Horrible!!! Tuan gave me a fill in that needs to be redone already! I want my money back! He didn't have the right color for my nails but said he could fix it at the end. He was wrong!!! Awful!!! I love the quality of work when Mr. T does my nails. He is perfect at shaping full sets! I do occasionally feel rushed if other customers start coming in while I'm sitting at a station. While the salon itself is set up to be a nice salon experience, the staff could do a bit more to help customers feel that way. But it's not enough to keep me away. Use to love coming to this location to get my nails done however, the last few times I have been they have been short on staff. The wait can be painful. They have at least 14 stations but there have been times where they could barely handle serving 4 customers. They do a great job but really need to additional employees. read more

The atmosphere was calming and nice, and though I was there with a larger group, they knew we would all be there- it felt rushed and I had to correct my manicurist on what I was getting because of a miscommunication. I got a gel manicure, like I normally do. My nails are already chipping, and I got them done 4 days ago, in the past I've been able to get the 2 and sometimes 3 weeks out of them. My nails that aren't chipping have light, basically see through spots. Unless I have a different manicurist, I'll more than likely go back to my old salon. read more

I've been here twice for a pedicure, and while they do a good job in general, both times they have not addressed my rough heels, which is one of the primary reasons I get a pedicure. They do not use the "cheese grater", but also didn't use the scrubby sponge-looking thing enough to do any good. I even told my tech several times that I had concerns about my heels but I don't think that she understood. Everyone was very nice and the rest of the service was fine, but I felt that I didn't get a complete service walking out of there without my heels being addressed properly. read more

Was my second visit at the Salon. First visit was with a friend for a pedicure a few months back. This visit was a little bit more special as I took my daughter in for a holiday treat to get a pedicures and I at the time decided to get a full set of the dip nails. The genrleman that greeted us as we walked in was pleasant and more then helpful. However the girl that was doing the service, was not very pleasant at all. Now I can deal with that as it's a very busy time of year and we all have bad days. So my daughter and I are sitting side by side and I was not ask ifnI wanted a drink (my daughter was) I was not ask if I wanted my toe nails trimmed down and (my daughter was) she not only cut my nails down so short that they are sore , she cut a.xhunk of skin out of my big toe on the side where I nearly cried. Then my daughter had a little white snowflake placed on her toe and it went from white to orange. Looks awful. ....... Not done yet though. This entire time I am still trying to cheer this girl up and make conversation with her. My nails on my hand are not too bad. But she filed the sides so hard I had sores and red marks on them and they are bumpy I have little bubbles on them. So all of this was so upsetting as it was to be a special time for my daughter and I and still today my toe is so sore I cant even put a shoe on. read more

This place is awful! NEVER GO HERE! I am pregnant and went with a few friends to get a pedicure. My legs are swollen due to being pregnant. I couldn't get my jeans to roll up over my calves very far. The owner of all people jokingly asked if I wanted scissor to cut my jeans. Then the lady that did my toes heard my friends and I talking about me being pregnant. She asked when I was due and said oh you don't look pregnant but fat. She told me I looked FAT! How rude, embarrassing, and humiliating. I couldn't really understand her and when my friends and I left we all had the same story and heard her say the same thing about me. Not to mention what they were saying behind my back in their language. Which I also think is rude! I will never go back to this place again. The people are rude and cruel. Please don't support this business. There are plenty of other nail paces in Murfreesboro to give your business to. I called to complain because I was so mad and the owner told me he was joking and didn't know I was pregnant. Not an excuse! read more
