T4Tactics offers well above industry standard training for Active Shooter Prevention, response and recovery. On that topic we also offer workplace violence prevention, de-escalation training. If a violent attack was to occur at your workplace, T4Tactics can respond within a timely manner to assist getting the business and employees back up and running. So many folders and sub-folders on why this is critical. In 2024 T4tactics traveled to 19 states (some numerous times) and trained just over 11,000 people on workplace safety. History

Established in 2009.

Most of my extensive training started during my career as a police officer in the Daytona Beach area. I was fortunate to spend most of my career in the Special Investigations Unit, SWAT and as the Commander of the Hostage Negotiations Team. I was the one of my departments firearms instructor. I believe a person can never stop learning. There are no "experts" in the field. In 2007 I retired and my wife and I moved to Lynchburg, VA where I started teaching firearms safety to civilians from 2009 to 2016. I still teach the safety classes but in 2016 added active shooter response training to the agenda.

Real quick - I believe in delivering 100% customer service. Public safety and awareness is my main focus and mission statement. I pride myself with the belief and goal that not one person will ever leave my classroom with questions, feelings of uncertainty or apprehension. That goes for the firearm safety/concealed permit classes and the active shooter response training. As a longtime adjunct professor (17 years) I recognize people have different learning skills and abilities. Thats important to recognize and capitalize on that for their success. Each attendee in my classes gets personal attention. It's that important to T4Tactics. I once had a college professor that had a motto, "fun while learning" - I like to follow that. It made me want to take more of his classes.
