When I'm stopping for gas, snacks, or anything else, I'm usually not too concerned about the height of the weeds in the parking lot, so some of these other reviews are pretty entertaining. I am just happy that they have a large parking lot and my car's always been safe parked in it for a couple of hours at a time. The gas station is standard TA (snacks, drinks, gas attendants doing their thing), and the bathrooms are always in good condition (stocked and clean) - I mean, what's more important than that?! For realz. The best thing about this TA is the casino in the back. Sierra Sids is so much fun, and they're attached. I'm sure I sound like a real winner, hyped up about gambling in a gas station casino, but they actually have a huge selection of games and lightening speed drink service. You need a landscaped parking lot to like a place? This might not be the one. But if you need fuel or fun... they're open all night! read more

As you walk inside the truck stop the sweet aroma of cigarette smoke and bad discussions flow through the air. $6.00 for a candy bar and $15 for a single burger from the restaurant. Truck parking is set up to get your good ripped off. TA's have all gone down hill, seems they are ok with building new locations but refuse to remodel older locations. Horrible place to stop. Drive another 10 minutes to the next rest stop definitely worth it. Weeds in the front entrance are over 5 feet tall. You can't even tell where the entrance and exit is located. They have so many people living in their vehicles on the property including homeless. read more

5 stars all day for the mechanics on duty. Cruz and Laurel were amazing! Jack was also helpful when I called the day before and asked some questions. They quoted me a price and hours and they were on the money. In fact, I was prepared for it to be more because that's how it is usually. They had plenty of parking, a casino and very nice bar attached. There were pool tables inside as well (not sure If there is a few, or free). They also have showers and laundry facilities. read more

Great truck stop to place to get gas right off I-80. Pre-pay to them means "Give me your credit cad and come back when your tank is full". You can get fuel, eat at the diner, gamble, sit in the lounge and watch T.V., shower and who knows what else. Nice, clean, big bathrooms. Warning: There are slot machines everywhere. Including outside the woman's restroom, where smoking is allowed. read more

Had to roll into town quickly mid-Burning Man and I figured a shower would be the best thing ever. I had never been to a truck stop before and I highly enjoyed the wealth of offerings and seeing a slice of America that I had never seen before. I tried to buy a shower, which was $12 but I only had a twenty and just didn't get that it needed to be exact change. A nice man is like, let me get that for you, we get free ones when we buy gas so you can just use one of mine. It was one of those great moments when the universe sends you an angel, mine was in the form of a trucker from North Dakota. You buy a ticket and it will have a number on it, when they call your number you walk down this long hall of bathrooms till you see your number on the pad next to it. The shower was impeccably clean and very comfortable. I was even impressed by the quality of the towels. They really did a great job making a bathroom in the middle of a long hall of bathrooms feel like yours. I was super impressed by the whole thing and it was a great introduction to a different lifestyle than my own little pampered Bay Area experience. read more

Stopped in here to fill up on gas before heading on the road for an 8 hour drive....Hit it up a little after 8am for our morning coffee as well....you would think as a truck stop one would want to get in and get out as quick as possible....it took us about 30 minutes if not longer....they were out of coffee....not only one but both found that ridiculous....finally got the coffee brewing filled up my cup....then went to add the creamer....and the creamer was OUT....are you serious....now why the hell you brew two new pots of coffee and not check the damn creamer....we'll not be stopping here again....I'm just saying....BIG WASTE OF TIME!!! read more

Could be in the past my expectations were lower, I was less awake, or things have changed, but this travel center / truck stop isn't quite up to par with what I remember. The pumps are still just as accessible, albeit sparse (one to an island on each side on the unleaded ones on the west side), and the restrooms were okay. I would have bet a quarter (one of the snazzy National Parks ones, too, not even a plain Jane Kansas quarter) that the store inside had more than a few stand-alone soda refrigerators and the to-be-expected heavy smell of second-hand smoke from the slots perched nearby. Still a good stop for quick off-and-on fuel as you trek into the abyss of Nevada along I-80 -- or are coming from it -- but would fish in deeper waters if you're looking for a good snack selection. read more

Worst customer service, I get rung up for my items inside the gas station, the dumb cashier closes the register before giving back my change then changes shift with a cashier that just a showed up, I say hey I'm just wait for my change and she total blows me off to help another customer with a gas pump problem. This is where we stay in Reno/Sparks about once a week! Exit 19 of I-80. We love the area, you can walk about w blocks to the Sparks Marina and have a nice walk around the lake. Stop off at the Legends Mall for some window shopping or a movie. The showers at this place are amazing! Clean, roomy and with big fluffy white towels, not like that other chain where the blue towels look like shop towels. The restaurant staff is very nice and attentive and they have a typical TA menu. I only gave it 4 stars for 3 reasons: 1. They are doing construction on the fuel island for truckers and that makes it a little difficult. This will last months. 2. The convenience store is not well managed. They are frequently out of coffee or some staple and it's dark and crowded. Not a typical TA store. 3. There is only one exit and it can be a booger to find and get out of because there is road construction on that street. Inspite of those things we always enjoy our stay here! read more

Avoid! We just rolled out of there for gas, and were harassed by every panhandler in this damn city. Staff did not care.

Once again this place is under construction. The restaurant is closed. So are the restrooms by the restaurant. As a typical TA there are two restrooms for men, but only one for women. So that means the only ladies room is closed. They have dedicated 1 shower as a ladies room. If possible, park the truck somewhere else. The only driver's services available right now is the casino... :( read more

Got a shower here today. I was a little cautious, as it is a gas station.. Thing. But they gave me a large shower, and it was ridiculously clean. Cleaner than a lot of hotels we've been to lately.! Service was excellent, and for both me and my husband to have a shower for an hour and a half collectively, was totally worth the 13 dollars.
