The atmosphere is extremely laid back and the staff is very friendly. They have a smaller selection, but it is actually better than most. The staff will even cut yours free of charge so you can smoke it if you don't have a cutter. The lounge area in the back is awesome! They have all leather couches and recliners along with several big screen TVs to watch sporting events. It is pretty spacious and private too. I will definitely come back here when I want to lounge and smoke my occasional cigar.

One of my biggest worries when going to a new vape store is being looked at like I'm stupid for asking questions about things I'm trying to buy. There aren't any "vape elitists" here. You'll be treated like a friend and that's genuine. What's more is that I had a manufacturing defect with a couple expensive mod kits and each time, I was treated with complete respect and was beyond assisted. Even the owner helped me try and navigate working with a certain manufacturer and I didn't even ask that persons name. :( (forgive me!!!) Certainly have won me as a regular and I hope others stop by. Not ONE person will "blow vapor In your face" as a previous person stated. That's absolutely ludicrous. These are sensible, good people. Thank you guys for all of the help.

I think you have to both be in the mood/frame-of-mind to really look at everything and have the time to do it. You could very easily spend all day there. "Just browsing" isn't going to cut it. That said, I had neither the time nor the inclination to spend the time to really give it a good shopping. Instead I found it overwhelming, so I just politely walked most of the aisles only looking at the things that really jumped out at me. Because it was a Saturday, there seemed to be a number of vendors there, so I'm sure there are some interesting stories to be told, and they could surely help if you're searching from something specific.

I asked one gentleman at the cashier's desk if he thought a Vendor would be willing to negotiate over price of a specific piece of furniture and he quickly responded, 'Let's give him a call right now.' And sure enough, the Vendor did in fact work with me on the price and I went home with a chair I really wanted. Actually, there is a little bit of everything that collectors hope to see at the Brass Bear at reasonable prices. In addition, parking is free and convenient at the front of the store. Stop by one day when you have a free hour to treat yourself.

It's located in downtown Alex City, which is also a fun spot to come and explore. It's next door to Carlisle's Drugstore, one of the few remaining old style drugstore fountain / deli setup. Shop at MacDavid and then eat lunch or grab a milkshake at Carlisle's.
