We had a workshop roofed and sided. Then the wind came in and took the roof off a shed where we keep our lawn equipment. The installed a new roof there. All of their work is professional. They have been in business 50 year, a family owned business, and their work shows why they have in business that long.

My parents used what they thought was a "reputable" company to put their new roof on in 2012. (Catching water in buckets) Insurance told my mother that this roof was put on INCORRECTLY and insurance would not be able to cover a new roof. My mother had a second company come out to look at the roof and was also told it was put on incorrectly. My mother had someone from T & L Roofing to come take a look at the roof. T & L admitted most of the roof was put on wrong from the get go by their workers. My mother was told on the phone by one of the owners that it is a "bad financial time of year". My mother has tried to compromise on resolutions with her. T & L was only offering $500 toward the cost of an entire new roof which is a total cost of approximately ~$14,700. That's not even 4% of what their mistake is going to cost my mother out of her own pocket! The T & L Roofing's Mission on their Facebook page reads: "To do the job using quality materials with quality workmanship. Quality lives on after the price is gone." They say quality is a part of their mission, but this quality did not exist on my mothers roof. While I understand workmanship does expire on a roof after so many years, this was wrong from day one. It didn't happen over years of wear and tear. This company installed this roof incorrectly. For a company to admit they did a customer wrong but not go the extra mile to make it right is not a company I would ever recommend someone to use!

The workers were nothing short of amazing and I'd highly recommend them but we got a $1400 upcharge for removing a second layer of shingles from the roof. I don't have a whole lot of heartburn there other than that should have been in the original estimate as it's not particularly difficult to determine whether a roof has two layers of shingles installed. The part where I *do* have heartburn is the almost $1000 upcharge for one sheet of plywood and twelve 1"x6" decking boards they replaced. Our quote says there would be an $86 charge for each sheet of plywood (they used one) and where we live 1"x6" decking costs about a dollar a board-foot. When we complained about the bill Caps did give us a $350-ish discount on the entire job but a roofing job that was quoted at $6.1k cost us a tad more than $8.1k. As mentioned the roofers themselves were nothing short of amazing,

The shingles were not what we wanted, as we had communicated to Shelley (owner) that we wanted essentially to replace what was there from an aesthetic standpoint. We were not at the property when the work was finally done, and when we came back we were very disappointed, both with the look of the new roof and the debris that was left behind (including many nails, one of which ended up in one of my tires, resulting in a $40 repair). I have never encountered an owner of a business that was less interested in customer satisfaction.
