HIGHLY recommend Kash who is meticulous and focused and never rushed, as he says, "this is your time and when we finish we finish"...if someone is waiting then they wait because soon ot will be THEIR time in the chair and he will focus all his attention on them! Shady owners, mediocre art at best when they manage to hold on to an artist for any length of time.

Unprofessional and dishonorable business. I had gotten a gift certificate for christmas to be used on one specific artist there. It was purchased on 12/21/10. Since that date I had an appt. on the 27th (the big snow storm) which was cancelled. I tried to reschedule and found the artist was fired! I asked for a refund on my gift certificate and was denied. they attempted to compromise - I was offered ink by the two remaining artists who I don't want and they made me feel pressured into letting them do my work. I paid in advance for a service they cannot provide. I want my money back! read more

I just went to Taboo for my first tattoo. Mookie was my artist. The day before the appt, I sent him the design I wanted along with other ideas to go with it. He drew up and created a beautiful design with his own touches. He was very professional, and very friendly. My tattoo came out better than I could have hoped for! And an added bonus that I discovered was that he only uses vegan products. While I myself am not vegan, I am a big animal lover, so that was a nice surprise. VERY clean and professional shop. Got my husband a gift certificate there and the artist went above and beyond, giving us more for our money. You can make appointment but not necessary. The work was fantastic, and their personalities are great. I know the previous post was from a long time ago , but I just wanted to point out that I have given and received all sorts of gift certificates for people through the years and they are ALWAYS non refundable and not equal to cash. Usually says so right now the card or certificate. Sounds to me like a friend of the artist that was fired or the artist themselves trying to damage a small local business. I can only hope that my review will counter her negative one. read more

I went looking for a tattoo shop to have a cover up done on my arm. At first, Mookie did a great consultation, came up with a cherry blossom as the design, and we set up a date to get it done which was March 20th. Then, my sister needed me to go and help her with a project for that date, which needed a certain amount of people, so I left a message with Mookie and told him I needed to reschedule and why. That way I didn't take up a slot that someone else could take so he still makes his pay. He told me he would get back to me that Thursday before and never contacted me. I'm not going to hound an artist who says they're booked when we talk just to stay on them to reschedule my appointment. Being a professional is contacting your client when you say you will, but I NEVER got a call back. I didn't care whatever the reason was, but at least a call would've been professional. That just made me change my mind about ever going there. read more
