I do not recommend Dr Ian Storch at all. I did NOT have a good experience with this provider. I had…read moremy records sent over to him prior to my appointment and he never reviewed them. Then he sent me for the same test I had already completed. This was unnecessary and the test did not need to be repeated at all. I mentioned to him that his office had received my records and to please not repeat what I had already done. I was Very displeased with Dr Ian Storch on so many levels. He even yelled at me over the phone twice, belittled me and definitely spoke down to me which made me very uncomfortable. I will never go back to Storch ever again. He is arrogant, has a temper and lashes out at patients which is unprofessional and unacceptable. In addition, he is not that great of a doctor. Seek your care from another Gastroenterologist. He was the First Gastroenterologist doctor I had ever seen. He said I was fine and forgot to do a physical exam. I had to remind him to do a physical exam which was imperative. Prior to seeing him I saw a Nurse at a different office who ordered the correct lab work. Since I wanted to follow up with a Doctor, I went to Storch's office and was dissatisfied. My stomach was a mess for months -- I had my first doctor misdiagnose me (see Dr. Beckerman review) Then another doctor break up with me, basically told me my blood test results made no sense and told me there was nothing he can do. (He's lucky he doesn't have a page on yelp to review) Then Preeti Mehta to the rescue. Although my symptoms were bizarre, and nothing added up, she took initiative, put me on antibiotics immediately, and when that didn't go as planned, she gave me an endoscopy the SAME DAY as my appointment! She even gave me her cell phone number in case I had any emergencies. She is incredibly upbeat, super caring, and an all around genuine person.

When I went in for my scheduled colonoscopy, I was kept waiting several hours before I was taken into the procedure room. I made a follow up appointment and was called that afternoon that the doctor was unavailable but she can call me later that day they would call to check me in to obtain my co-pay who charges a co-pay for a follow up to a procedure. I've never had to do that before they called me to check in 30 minutes after they said they would and the doctor would be calling me in 10 minutes. It is now an hour later and I still haven't received a call. I'm going into the office to collect my records and will never use this facility again.

Our Gastro doctor Besty Pathickal left ProHealth to go to NY Langone and for the past 8 months…read morewe've been requesting ProHealth medical records to sent both my wife's and my medical records to NY Langone. Dr. Pathickal also sent our release forms that we completed to ProHealth requesting our records, but nothing was ever sent. My wife required a procedure from Dr. Pathickal, and the records were required to complete the diagnosis after her procedure. We went to ProHealth medical records department in Lake Success NY to see about getting her records prior to her procedure. The person we spoke with stated that he personally sent the records himself three times and stated that the records were probably sitting on Dr. Pathickal fax machine, and no one ever picked them up. He proceeded to print out the records and when we went home and opened the package there was a $72 bill inside, which he never informed us about. This was very deceitful, and I believe this practice is unlawful. We are still awaiting my records to be sent which again were requested multiple times.

My PC schedules all my referrals to specialist thru the Pro-health network. I have been to…read morethe ENT, Neurology, and I do my Mammogram there. But I have to say the the Gastroenterology office is the worst Office that I have encountered. I has a procedure in June and the Doctor Gal ask me to call in two week for results and one month for a follow up. I have been calling that office on a daily basis to schedule my appts. sine July 8th and I have yet to have my phone calls answered. I had the phone rang for over 7 mins one occasion and then it was busy for a whole day and I wonder if they are all on vacation.
