Established in 2023.

Tacktics Galena is founded by Cathy and CJ, a mother-daughter duo. Over the years, they saw horses have a profound effect on people; and not just in the saddle. This inspired them to create opportunities for people to have such experiences. Tacktics is located on Cathy’s family farm where she grew up, with quaint, rustic charm, and stunning views of rolling hills and farmland, set the tone for people to unplug. Cathy and CJ have created fun events and activities for people to experience connections with horses that build people skills, leadership, and teams- all while having such a fun time. They use an international building block curriculum to create fun sessions that have people learning about themselves and bettering their life skills. Whether you come for an event in the corral with the minis, a workshop, or a team building session- Cathy, CJ, and their horses look forward to having you at Tacktics Galena.
