This location could be so much better, but the workers here will straight up lie to you. Not once, not twice, not even three times but at least FIVE times they have told us they were closed when they weren't. The first few times we let it go, but tonight was the last straw. We pulled up at around 10 and they said, "We're closed." Keep in mind they supposedly close at 1am. Ok weird, but not a big deal. So we sat in their lot for a bit trying to figure out where we wanted to go when we noticed they were taking orders just a few minutes later. We decided to pull back up and sure enough they took our order. So y'all open then or not? I don't know who's managing the night crew, but they need to figure something out. It's a shame too because this is one of the few places on halsted that consistently gets your order right. Plus besides this, the people who work here are generally really nice. The service here was horrible. The "manager" on duty refused to give her name but the cashier was named Kianna L. While taking our order she kept rushing us then asked if we wanted to donate to some organization, we said no & her response was "of course you wouldn't" when we got to the window we asked why she was being rude and she ignored us. so we asked for the number to corporate and they refused so we left. I went in to order lunch. I love Taco Bell and use this location regularly. The young woman came to the counter with her mask around her neck. I asked her to please put it up, she put it loosely, around her mouth, no nose covering. She couldn't take my order, so she asked for help. The next person also had their mask around their neck. I got irate with them for handling food without the proper protection for customers. They looked at me as if they really didn't care. Only one person had their mask on behind that counter. Placed order at drive-thru for two nacho fries and a crunchwrap supreme. The nacho fries were half full each and there was no meat on the crunchwrap supreme. The quality and service were both terrible as well but that comes without doubt. Additionally, every location near the area recently has had their drive-thru's closed day-in/day-out, and the employees will make your order terribly every time just because they're mad you ordered food there. 0/10 Food was cold and disgusting don't go here. read more

Food is usually good. However at night it's like they ignore you at the menu. At 11 no one would answer and we had already paid online.

I've ordered from this location 3 times and every time they got something wrong on the order or it was made really bad. Not sure if management needs to check if their staff can read but how do you mess up continually? I'm giving them a 1 because I can't give them a zero. I understand that this is Taco Bell so my expectations aren't all that high to begin with, however I do expect when I order a cheese quesadilla for it to at the very least have cheese on it. Both cheese quesadillas I ordered were missing both the sauce and hardly had a sprinkle of cheese on them. Also, this is the second time I've gone to this location and was told they were "out of ground beef, but I could wait 30 min for more" plus they also said they were out of chicken for burritos but miraculously had chicken for a quesadilla. Came here after my long day to get my Taco Bell fix . Well didn't go as planned because not only can't they make a simple taco the night manager lied to my face ! I ordered 6 hard shell tacos through drive through and the cashier hand me my tacos and tells me the lettuce is on the side so I tell her I'm sorry but no can you take it back and fix it because I'm not going to do that while I'm driving and trying to put hot sauce on my taco. I'll bump this up to a 4 just because I want a Taco Bell location to stick around. We have had issues with not getting any sauces for whatever reason they don't want to give any so you should go in to just grab a bunch..lmao.
