This was my first job ever!!! I worked there for nearly three years, from the age of 15 to 18. Being in a tiny, tiny town like Cross Lanes, it's not like a lot of other fast food restaurants. The turnover isn't near as high, and I know of people who have been there for years. The old GM of this store is now a regional manager in the area, and one of the old line cooks is the store manager. Or was a year or two back. Even after all those years working, I continue to go back to Taco Bell. It's not nearly as bad as some people say. I moved back to WV for a few years when my dad got sick. Being a mile from this old place, I started going there again. Some of the crew still remembered me! That's good service. ;) read more

This location is 5 min from my house. On Friday night at mid nite we stopped and got a 12 pack box of crunchy tacos. When we got home and I took the first taco out of the wrapper it was soggy! Like it had been sitting there already made for a while. Every time I eat at this Taco Bell I'm disappointed, every time it's either soggy, stale or they just mess up my order. I won't be eating at any Taco Bell for a while, the others in my area hire people that just look dirty and I wouldn't want them making my food. I'm just tired of wasting my money. Above average Taco Bell that is clean, efficient, serves good food, and has a friendly, hardworking staff that is probably a reflection of the strong work ethic of the small town in which the establishment is located. I ordered the Mexican Pizza and they made it just the way I wanted it. The hard shell tacos are always good and my wife loves her Nachos Bellgrande. Excelente!!! read more

Slowest, I mean slowest Taco Bell around! Someone from corporate needs to step up at this location!!!

I used to frequent this Taco Bell after rough late night shifts. They have provided excellent food and service in the past, but they have nosedived in the past few months: I can usually expect to be missing at least one item I ordered and some key ingredients in food to be missing. Tonight there was at least one key ingredient missing from every single item I ordered. There was no sauce in my cheese quesadillas, spicy tostada, and there was no guacamole in my seven-layer burrito. The burrito's fillings were also unevenly distributed and dry. I know I come through late at night, but I still expect good service and to get what I actually order. I know what this Taco Bell used to be like, and now its one of the worst in the county, second only to the one in South Charleston. read more

My hubby and kids love them, but they are not usually the ones who have to deal with them. First, almost every time I go there, they are out of eggs for breakfast. seriously. 7 out of ten times. No I don't wait till the last minute either. I have gone a hour before breakfast was supposed to be over, and they didn't have eggs... Also my 6 year old daughter wanted taco bell and my hubby wanted ribs from Fridays (awesome special they had. a whole rack of ribs and a side for $10 bucks) Wow! I went to Fridays first of course because its a restaurant and it usually takes longer. It was ready in 10 mins. NO JOKE! Then we went to taco bell. They didn't seem very busy. I dropped off my older daughter who had already eaten. to place the order while I stopped at the gas station beside taco bell. The guy cashier in the gas station somehow messed up on the register , so I was there for a good 10 mins. Then we went to get my daughter from taco bell, and she was still waiting on the food. 1 nacho taco and a nacho chips and cheese. that's all she wanted. They were not that busy when we got there, but it seemed they had a bit more customers now. We went in and waited with her and after another 5mins...after I went and got gas and drinks, and still nothing. I approached the cashier and asked where the order was and how much longer and he went to check. Couldn't even find the order that was already paid for. So I expressed we have been waiting close to 20 mins now, for 1 taco and chips and cheese, and I have food in the car getting cold. We still waited another 5 mins, and I finally got the manager to come and she made my food. I just hate going to this taco bell! HATE IT! read more
