On Feb 28, 2026 I went to the Taco Bell on Northshore Blvd in Slidell, La and went inside to place an order. The music was so loud you could barely hear yourself think. and I might add that the music was VERY inappropriate for the business..... I waited almost 10 minutes before anyone waited on me. A young lady finally took my order. I ordered 3 $5 dollar Luxe Boxes and 2 chicken chalupa supremes. I paid for it with my debit card. While waiting on my order I happened to look at my receipt and was shocked to see that she had charged me a little over $46 I called her attention to the error and she looked at the receipt and looked dumbfounded...she had no clue. I told her that I ordered (3) 5 dollar Luxe boxes and 2 chalupas which should have been around 22 dollars. I told her to void that and put my money back on my debit card and I'd reorder. She said she couldn't do that. Are you serious?? Please get the manager. The manager came after another long wait. I explained it all to her. We finally figured out what the girl had done. Instead of the Luxe boxes she had charged me for (3) number 5's and the 2 chalupas. I asked the manager to void it and she said she couldn't and that I would have to come back the next day when the district manager would be there as she was the only one that could do that. I told her that was ridiculous, give me my receipt and I'll be back tomorrow. She said she couldn't give me the receipt because she needed it for her paperwork. That doesn't make sence. I went ahead and reordered the Luxe boxes which totaled $16.44. I kept the receipt. The food was horrible. I had to throw it away. I returned the next day and was informed that the district manager would be in that afternoon/evening and come back at 6pm and she would handle it. I returned at 6pm. Waited 15 minutes before she finally came. Then she told me I would have to wait another 7-10 working days and my money would be returned to my debit card. Needless to say I was furious !! I am 70 yrs old and I live on a fixed income. My bills are on automatic draft and I said that I needed my money returned so that nothing would be returned as NSF. She told me there was nothing she could do about it. Needless to say I did get an overdraft. Never had one before !! Which brings me to today, Friday March 13, 2026 Still nothing returned on my Debit Card. So, I called Corporate Office and went through all of this once again only to be told that someone would contact me in 3 to 7 working days. This has really gone to the extreme !! If I don't get a phone call within 24 hours I am calling an attorney and Elderly Protective Services. Something HAS TO BE DONE I still have no idea where the 51.03 charge on my debit card came from. They close the lobby at midnight but the drive thru remains open until but they keep parking employee cars in the drive thru at 12 to keep people from ordering after the lobby is closed for walkins. If tacobell has no respect for us locals then screw Taco Bell. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. First off, I blame myself for returning to this location.. everytime I go something is wrong/missing. This time I pull up to the drive through to order and a girl says "we're only accepting DoorDash or mobile orders right now." Okay, cool, I'll place a mobile order and come back around. I place my order and pull back up to the drive through and I said I placed a mobile order. She then says "we don't have chalupas."... so I say.."okay, well may I replace it with something else!" She says "you have to cancel your order and place another one"... I'm now thinking in my head... "why did you not tell me that before I placed an order..? But I shrugged it off and said okay I'll place another. While I'm selecting items I ask if I can get a Crunchwrap.. and she says "no, the fryer is down." At this point I'm aggravated. I then asked "well all is not available?" She goes to list a bunch of items..most likely because they closed in 1hr and are lazy. All she had to do was say "we are only taking DoorDash and mobile orders, and we are also out of these items."... simple right? Whatever, by then I placed an order and it's being made. I pull up to the window and ask her to please make sure an item didn't have sour cream on it (cuz I'm picky).. she said she'd make sure. I wait another 5min, receive my order and because I was the only car there, I specifically asked her to double check accuracy.. I didn't check it... (so partially my fault..I guess, cuz I know better). Turns out my food was inaccurate once again. Ordered from their website with an almost $30 order around 2:30pm today. Once we received the notification that our order was ready we were not even 1 minute away. Sent my husband inside to grab the food. He told one of the employees he was there to pick up an order and gave my name. From the back you could hear the manager yell "tell him someone already picked up his order" to which was confusing to him because no, we did not send anyone else to pick up our order. My husband told her that no this is our order and we havent picked it up yet. He asked her did she even verify the order. She said yes they gave her MY name. Which there is no way. I have one of the most uncommon names there is. She said she didnt ask for any other verification and just gave them OUR order. My husband began to question her more and she told my husband she didnt care what he had to say she gave the order away and to contact support on the app (which theyre closed till monday so we are out $30). He asked her if she could come out from the back because she spoke to him from behind a wall the entire time. She told him no and if he didn't get out of the store she was calling 911. She was rude and disrespectful the entire time. I dont understand how you just give someone elses order. There is NO WAY someone walked in and gave my name. I believe the manager stole our order or gave our order to someone she knew because they're no other explanation. The manager said she PERSONALLY gave the order to an older man then changed her story and said it was a couple. She refused to try and rectify the situation, give us a number to contact, or even approach us in a respectful manor. She also refused to give us her name. DO NOT EAT FROM HERE! This location gave me food with hair in it and just just a piece but a long strand of hair with the bulb attached and refused to give me a refund. They also called the police after they told me they would give me a refund when I called and informed them of the hair issue and when I went there to collect my money, changed the story and had me "banned" from this location. The management here is inadequate and the service is horrible. A week ago I went to this location and waited almost 45 minutes for a mobile order. There is high turn over here and it's clear from the other reviews, the owners need to do an assessment of the management and the quality of the food they are providing. Because of the treatment I received, I will no longer support Taco Bell as a whole. We've never had a wrong order here and we come here regularly (seeing that it is the closest TB to our house). The Frito burritos are laced with crack and are damn good. 1 star is far too many for this particular location, the staff are incredibly rude. Placing an order here whether through mobile or at the window is tedious at best. The employees will stand around talking to each other and ignore the window, I've called the store to ask if they're taking orders and have been cursed out multiple times. Large sign on door states DINE IN OPEN - Come on in!You walk in through the open doors, the floors are clearly marked at 6 foot intervals, lights are on and Kiosks are functioning. You enter your order into the kiosks only be yelled at by the manager from behind the counter "We ain't open you have to leave" I was told that they have to have the sign and appear open but they aren't properly staffed so that aren't opening the dining...so you have to go through the drive through. The trash was overflowing, tables had food all over them, and the drink station had open paper towels thrown all over it. After waiting 30 minutes for food in an EMPTY RESTAURANT they charged us for the drink on an order we NEVER RECEIVED. The woman working the cash register spent 20 minutes sweeping the floor then told us she was going to make our order. I was in shock. Why would she clean an empty restaurant while we were waiting on an order?!
