I was between several entree items, but took the waitress' opinion and ordered the puerco en salsa with tomatillo sauce, spicy. So very good. We also ordered the chicharrones on a whim as an appetizer, which were amazing dipped in the hot sauce. I would highly recommend a visit here. We're only in town a few days, but plan on coming back before we leave.

I always try to switch up the protein but I can't. I like what I like, and the barbacoa is the reason I keep coming back. They offer plenty of other authentic Mexican plates as well, so there's something for everyone. The owners are incredibly sweet, and the inside feels just like a small, cozy Mexican taqueria simple, welcoming, and full of heart.
