Taco del mar has always been consistently good, the ingredients look and taste fresh. The service is good, maybe not overly super duper friendly but never rude or bad. I always get the same thing and never have had any problems with the menu but it seems like other people have a hard time reading it. The serving size of chips is on the light side, it's not like they are a super expensive thing for them to add just a few more so you feel like your getting you money's worth. This is in my mind the best place for faster food. I will continue eating here when I need something on the go! The good things. There was an obvious smell of antiseptic that showed effort is being made to keep the premises clean and safe. The staff were pleasant. My burrito was tasty. However, while I was unwrapping and eating my burrito it kept dripping liquid. Over time I would say at least half a cup. Fast, relatively healthy and affordable. Kids like it. Not great dine in atmosphere but good for a fast in and out. New owners charging for extras. Drink selection poor. Burritos are awesome. read more

Yesterday was the first & last time I will eat there. My friend & I ordered the same Mondo Chicken Burrito & we were both rewarded with several bouts of diarrhea later that day and throughout the night. Went once, it was a disgusting experience. Food was typical fast food grade...was that meat in the burrito? I couldn't tell. Staff were extremely disinterested in work...texting was much more important than customer service. Soggy, messy, bland 'gringo' fare and even adding copious amounts of hot sauce can't fix that. Wasn't even that warm when we got it...spent the remainder of the day worrying about food poisoning...didn't get it, but just the fact I had to worry about it should tell you all you need to know. Both the hubby and I enjoy Taco Del Mar and we basically order the same thing every time and we're very happy with the food and service !

Ole! Our family's been a fan since they opened. Healthy, customized food and lots of it! The wet burritos, vegan tortilla salads, shredded pork, black beans, homemade salsa..yum! After awhile, the girls behind the counter know exactly what we want and start fixing it when they see us. Time has taken it's toll on this place, though, with a big turnover of staff, and the dining area is getting run down. When the owner is behind the counter, she is on her cell phone, talking loudly and taking care of her family as she is trying to dole out your food as an afterthought. Wonder why it's up for sale? Too bad, 'cause the food is good. Ya gotta have good customer service and atmosphere though. read more
