The menu is decent, but definitely different than in the US. I chose the Seven Layer Burrito and ordered it without sour cream. So maybe I made it a Six Layer Burrito. I got it with Mountain Dew (of course). The cashier asked me if I wanted my food with nachos or fries and I had to choose fries because WHAT COULD THAT BE? It turns out, the seasoned fries from Taco Bell NL are delicious. This visit fulfilled my craving for Taco Bell. It wasn't a regular Taco Bell trip but it was still really nice and quite satisfying.

Taco Bell is exactly what I remember -- in fact, it's tastes like the best memories I have of the Bell. Like every other fast food restaurant, a side of sauce is extra, but there are three levels of heat for all meats, so I presume the mild, hot and fire sauces are already in the food. Still - fast service and good food, for less cost than the crummy Taco Mundo knockoff. We had the Nachos Supreme, a Stuft chicken burrito and a crunchwrap. While the chicken was perfectly fine, we both loved the beef nachos and crunchwrap. No steak on the menu, but carnitas - which I think would suit the stuft burrito better. The place has 2 floors of seating, a couple little couch areas and a table up front with plugs, like at schiphol, so you can plug in your laptop and get work done. Hopefully they can expand to outdoor seating. I'll be very happy indeed when they expand to the Randstad.

We ordered some of the tacos to share (they have 4-5 per serve) and I honestly think that these are pretty good for Mexican food on the Netherlands. The tortillas were freshly made and soft, and the mole chicken was flavorful. The downside was the carne asada was a bit tough but still tasty and came with some fresh guacamole. Overall since this place is local to me and the service was so friendly, I'd definitely come back and make this my go to for Mexican in my neighborhood.

Service was prompt and we started off with house margaritas. They were tasty, sorry I forgot to get a picture, we are from Texas, so know good margaritas and tex-mex, these were on par with what we are used to. We also had their chips and salsa, which was good and better than expected as we have very high standards. Our friends arrived and we talked awhile before actually ordering. The place filled up fairly quickly but never got too loud for conversation. My wife and I shared the tacos carnitas our friends had the chicken nachos and a chicken burrito. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. Our tacos were flavorful, tasty and a good portion size. The only drawback, was not enough to deduct a star, was that the pico de gallo was wet enough that the tacos were resting in a shallow soup. Still they were good so no big deal. If you are from Texas and craving Mexican food, this is the place to go, 5 star service and ambience, reasonable prices, and 4.5 star food (so 5 star overall). If you are not from Texas or Mexico, and you want to try those flavors, try this place. Highly recommended, you won't be disappointed. Felize comiendo!

Right off the bat, I would recommend Kua mainly because of the fact that it is one of the few Mexican restaurants in The Hague, plus it is the only restaurant (that I know of) that serves traditional dishes (the rest are Tex-Mex). So if you're used to Tex-Mex, I would highly recommend to go to Kua and try the traditional style Mexican food, as it is totally worth it. As for the service, the waiters are friendly. No negatives there. Despite my positivity about this establishment, there are some negatives. Firstly, the dishes are quite small. This is a shame because it's not advertised as a small plate/sharing type place. Secondly, the restaurant itself is also small, meaning that there isn't much space available, which leads me to my third negative point, you 100% need a reservation. Since the restaurant is small and good, it's quite popular. This means that it's always full and it'll be hard to get a table without having a reservation. Overall, I would recommend Kua mainly because of it's authenticity and the quality of the food. It may not be the best Mexican food ever, but The Netherlands isn't known for it's Mexican cuisine, meaning that Kua is the best restaurant available.

Their tacos and burritos are far from California or Mexican. However, I will give them another shot at some point to see if they even qualify for a 3 star, but I know one thing is that they are definitely not close to the real thing. I would suggest this spot if you are looking for good service, something fast and ok to eat or looking for a quick inexpensive meal. For the Gluten-free folkes you can order a corn taco to replace the burrito taco.

I've been here nearly 3 years and have yet to find a suitable substitute for my burrito love, but this place may have moved into the top position on my "next best thing" list. I ordered the "Original" burrito, the top item on the menu, but (huge caveat) I prefer my burritos bean free (blasphemy, I know). The burrito was nice and large, the same size that you'd find at a Chipotle in the States. This is an improvement over other burritos I've found here. The wrap was warm and soft, another plus. However, the ingredients, while delicious, were not warm. They were cold, even? This may be because the storefront has no door - it's open to the street, and the cafeteria-style ingredients are then subject to the cold Amsterdam air. The temperature of the ingredients - which in my case was pico de gallo, cheese, guacamole, grilled chicken, spicy sauce and rice - is my only major complaint. I had mine spicy, which - while not eye watering - was at a healthy level. It was very gooey with cheese and runny with sauce toward the bottom - but nothing I'm not used to with foil-wrapped burritos. The guacamole seemed lumped at one spot in the middle. I would have liked to see it spread around a bit more. They offer some unique sodas, brand colas, bottled water and Corona. I asked for a Corona but they were out, so I had a soda. Fine, whatever, but a Corona would have been nice. My burrito came with a handful of chips, which was a nice garnish, but nothing more. The establishment itself is pretty small, even for Amsterdam. There's maybe room for 15 people to sit either at a table or at a stool along the wall, and thankfully the place was relatively empty when I went there at 8:30pm on a Thursday. Take-away might be a good idea. The location is pretty good, in the south Jordaan not far from Dam Square. Staff was nice, and asked me if I enjoyed my burrito after finishing - a nice touch in a region of the world not known for warm customer service :) Verdict time: I give it 3 stars because while I enjoyed it, the ingredients were cold, but that could easily be remedied and make this a 4. But I'll definitely be returning!

The menu has a really nice selection of both cold and warm starters, and the salad selection is above average for most places. They also have a small tapas menu, offer soups, fajitas, seafood and even lambchops. On top of all this, they also have one of the largest selections of steak cuts I have ever seen in Eindhoven. Here you will find flank steak, top sirloin, tenderloin and ribeye - and in a variety of different sizes. For quick reference, the steaks come in various sizes (grams). Here's a quick way to determine how much meat your getting with the portions that Rodeo offers for the steaks: 180g (6.34oz), 250g (8.8oz), 350g (12.3oz), 450g (15.8oz), 600g (21oz). On this visit, i had the small bbq ribs as a starter. This was just right as an appetizer. It's a small plate with 6-7 spare ribs that are lightly sauced and seasoned and they tasted pretty good. I would definitely order them again. For my main course I went with the mixed kabob tenderloin (250 gram) plate. This came with a small piece of beef tenderloin and two chicken cutlets that have been pounded flat. The steak was cooked medium - exactly as I ordered it, and the chicken was done perfectly without being overcooked. Both the chicken and beef tasted great. They also brought out with the plate potato gratin and a bowl with some small frites and mayo to dip them in. I would definitely come back here again. I've had good experiences both times and the quality of the food is definitely superior here. Just be aware that the average bill here tends to be higher than for other restaurants in the area. That being said, if you like a good steak, you will definitely want to give them a try yourself.
