Tacoma Comedy club 6th & Proctor location. Fun.
    Allen F.

6th and Procter location has a better layout. All seats have a good view of stage. They seemed more organized as other location lost our reservations/tickets. Left everyone standing in cold way past door opening time. Go to 6th location.

This was my first time going to a comedy club and I couldn't have picked a better spot! I came to Tacoma Comedy Club for a girls night on a Saturday and we had an absolute blast. We saw Funny Marco perform and he did not disappoint--hilarious from start to finish! The crowd was lively, the energy was great, and the timing of the show was well organized. I ordered the pretzel bites (yum--soft, warm, and salty perfection) and treated myself to two Bahama Mama cocktails, which were sweet, strong, and totally hit the spot. Overall, it was a fantastic night filled with nonstop laughs, good vibes, and tasty drinks. I'll definitely be back for another show soon!

We always have a good time here. I'm going to start posting updated pictures of the food.

Went on a Saturday night for Margaret Cho's standup. The space is big and open, with tables arranged to give everyone a clear view of the stage. We got a few beers on tap and the bacon cheese fries, highly recommend! The portion is huge, perfect for 2-3 people to share. Service was friendly and pretty quick considering how packed the place was. Definitely worth the drive from Seattle!

I love that there's plenty of nearby (paid) parking in the area. I like the overall layout of this comedy club. You'll get a pretty good view of the center stage and the comedian(s) wherever you're seated. I would have hoped for the drinks to be better. They were pretty watered down. Maybe a safe option for next time would be a beer or a soda. Food is okay. There are some healthier choices like salads and a hummus dip but we went for the nachos (and asked to have it without beef, and by the way they have impossible patty as an alternative). Service was good. It was fast. However, we kept getting interrupted by the servers bringing things to our table that we didn't order (wrong table).

The workers specifically Logan are incredibly rude. They stuff 6 people in a small 4 pub table and when I politely asked to change seating to be more comfortable, for my group of 3. I was met with attitude and hostility. This was my first time going and will be my last. I'm just so disappointed that the staff has implicit bias that automatically made me be seen as hostile, when I was making a simple request. Please see the photo attached. I wasn't able to access the table all night, had to hold my coat and my purse in my lap the entire show, so that that 5 other people was able to eat their food on the table and not have to put it on the ground. Completely do not recommend.

I've been here maybe four times, but had a good time each time. Great place to see big names and good prices. The place is small enough where you always feel like you're close enough to the stage. You just have to purchase a minimum of two items per person, which is fine with me, since I always need something to eat and drink. Food is pretty good, and staff is friendly.

I absolutely love the comedy club. I have been here so many times. Always a great and fun time. Recommend buying the VIP tickets if you can also the best dinner packages. Staff is always friendly and great viewing area.

Two item requirement for shows, but the tap list isn't terrible, nor is the menu for pub type food.

Thelma's Lounge has such a great atmosphere. The space is stylish, comfortable, and feels like the perfect spot to unwind whether you're catching a show or just meeting friends for drinks. The happy hour menu was a pleasant surprise. We ordered the wings and onion rings, and both were excellent. The wings were crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, while the onion rings were fresh, crunchy, and impossible to stop eating. The drinks were refreshing, and the happy hour pricing made everything feel like a great value. What I love is that this isn't just a place to visit before a comedy show. The food, drinks, and atmosphere make it a destination on its own. I'll definitely be back for another happy hour soon.

We went on a Saturday night and luckily found parking right around the corner, sounds like we got pretty lucky based on other reviews! Doors for our show opened at 9:15 PM. While waiting, we grabbed a seat in the small diner area. The bar was out of mint for mojitos, but our waitress suggested a different drink that actually turned out really good, definitely added a star to the experience. As for the food, it was okay. There's a two-item minimum, which is expected, so we ordered the fried pickles and lemon pepper wings with ranch, both were pretty tasty! Great for snacking while enjoying the show. Now, the downsides. Prices were wild. We paid extra for "front row" seats, but honestly, the venue is so small that almost every seat feels like the front. Not worth the extra $40, save your money there. The comedians were decent, a few laughs here and there, but overall it wasn't quite worth the over $200 we spent for about an hour and a half. It wasn't terrible, just not something we'd do again next time we're in town.

And because the tables are shared with other groups, you would also think they would check on you often enough to take away dirty plates and take more orders. Specially when they ask you to not talk out of respect to the comedians. We kept having to flag down our server because she would not check on us, not even for our initial order. She also forgot about my wine order until almost the end of the show, so I had to chug it down. Idk if I'll ever come back here, too expensive for such a poor experience.

They serve pizza but unfortunately i didn't get to try it because we ate dinner before coming here. But I heard it was good. They have tons of choices for drinks. The ambiance is lit. Unfortunately, the experience was completely ruined by the service. The owner, Les, was incredibly rude and unprofessional. When I politely asked why several of the machines weren't working, he responded with a short temper and a condescending tone that is unacceptable for any business owner. While my kids were able to play on the few functioning games, it is clear the establishment is being run down. You have to invest in your equipment; there is no point in staying open if you aren't honest about the fact that a majority of your games are out of order. As someone who runs a corporate firm, I know that respect and transparency are the foundations of customer service. If Les dislikes his business or his guests this much, he should sell it to someone who will actually appreciate the establishment and its customers. It seems obvious that this place will continue to struggle if the owner doesn't start actually caring for his business.

I saw this place pop on social media from all of the Houston influencers. I love science and NASA so I made it a point to make it here while it's still in Houston. Reservations are required and evening and weekend spots fill up quickly. Parking was easy on either the street or parking lot. The staff was friendly and informative. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you're about to be walk into a space station. We waited about 10-15 minutes after our scheduled time to actual get into the experience. You have to go into an introduction room and then to the room where you get your VR equipment. They are cleaned thoroughly between use and are very comfortable. I had a few instances were the screen would go blank but it recalibrates quickly. The cool part is, you're group is color coded in the VR world so you can stick close together. You are free to roam about the room which in the VR world is the space station. It's interactive and there's so much to see. It's so neat how organized it is and if you follow instructions, you won't run into people. After the VR part, there's a few other artistic exhibits which were really cool and made for great pic opportunities. This was so cool, I might give it another go before it's gone!

I really felt like I was in the shoes of an astronaut. We did have difficulty finding the entrance at first, but there was no issue getting through even though we were a bit late for our time slot. There is a quick briefing while you're in line & then you go into a room where you get to hear astronauts talk about their experiences. The VR portion is next and there is another briefing where the person walks you through how to use the VR headset. If you wear glasses, but have the option to do contacts, I would recommend wearing your contact to make it easier to wear the headset. In hindsight, I wish I wouldn't have worn my glasses. My other observation, which the venue doesn't have much control over, is- I was In a group where a woman brought about 5 kids (not all looked like they were the required age for the venue). As a mother, I have nothing against kids, but this particular group of kids were talking very loudly the WHOLE time & it made it difficult to hear some of the audio portions of the headset. Really wish the adult would have asked them to keep it down so as not to ruin the experience for others. Luckily, they were slightly ahead of us, so they exited a few minutes before us. The last part of the experience is in a chair, but with VR headset & then there are some cool photo op areas as you walk out. Overall, would highly recommended, especially if you're a space lover.
