Staying in Klamath Falls for the night and decided that I needed some tacos after the long drive. Our hotel front desk recommended this taco truck so we gave it a try. Ordered by phone right before they closed and got 5 carne asada street tacos, 1 carnitas street taco, 2 chicken street tacos, and 1 bean and cheese burrito. The street tacos were pretty good, meat wasn't dry, plenty of salsa and onions! I do think that the tortilla was a little thick and I do prefer the ones back in the Bay Area. I didn't actually realize that the difference between the tacos and street tacos here is that the street tacos use flour tortillas and the regular tacos use corn tortillas. I think I'm usually team corn for my street tacos so that could be it. Overall though I would come back, there is plenty of seating next to the truck and also in the Triple J Deli next door. read more

No one believes me when I tell them that the best tacos I've ever had are in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Here I am writing this review a year and a half after moving from Klamath Falls because I miss them so much. Unlike boyfriends/husbands, these tacos over deliver and never disappoint you, and you're guaranteed to finish..... the tacos. :) On a serious note: I now live in Las Vegas where I thought I'd be able to find some good tacos easy, however, after a year of searching for tacos as good as these... I've given up. Nothing comes close to La Fogata tacos. I get disappointed every time I eat a taco that is not a La Fogata taco. Seriously!! It's almost heartbreaking. Very good carne asada burritos, very consistent ingredients, and one of the biggest burritos for under $10 I have ever had. Really it's 2 meals unless you are extra hungry. Call in your order and it's usually ready in 10 minutes. Remember to ask for salsa on the side. read more

Sadly, the chicken was super greasy and salty. So much so that the shell became saturated and disintegrated. The folks were pleasant and kind, though, so perhaps I hit it on an off day.
