I came here on a sunny day in January around 12.30ish. I ordered at the counter and tried to look for a table - but didn't find any - so got takeout As soon as I was done I saw a table empty out - and I took that one. The staff was kind enough to accomodate the change. The patio view is superb and the tacos I got the chips and guac - guac was fresh, and had the creamy feel of the avocado and the salsas were spicy and tangy , the chips were crispy and the little sprinkle of salt made all the difference The fish taco has fried fish and the taco was a great crunchy one with the spicy and crispy feels The shrimp taco is a little warm taco with grilled shrimp and a little mellow sauces . Overall good food and view

A Must-Visit Gem in Capitola! If you are craving Mexican food with an unbeatable backdrop, Tacos Moreno is the place to be. We ordered a spread including the taco salad, a savory chile relleno burrito, and a variety of tacos like asada, al pastor, shrimp, and fish. While the food was certainly good and hit the spot, I'm giving it a 4/5 because nothing in the main dishes particularly stood out as "blow-your-mind" unique. However, the chips were the unexpected star--they were incredibly fresh, and you can tell they are made from scratch! Overall, food was pretty good, but nothing was really We chose to sit outside on the patio and were greeted with the most stunning sunset view over Capitola Beach. Just a quick tip: the restaurant is right next to Zelda's, so be careful to sit only at the tables designated for Tacos Moreno. The staff kindly informed us they couldn't bring food to the tables facing the ocean directly due to those boundary lines. Despite the seating logistics, the atmosphere remained vibrant and welcoming. It truly is the perfect spot to enjoy your food while watching the waves.

My wife and I tried Tacos Moreno on the beach in Capitola tonight for the first time. It was really good and the service was excellent. We both got street tacos (chicken and carne asada. They come with melted cheese on the little corn tortilla, then the meat, then guacamole. They were super yummy and my favorite was the shredded chicken. Also their chips and red salsa were amazing. Glad to have another spot on the beach too comeback to!

Flautas! Also ate shrimp and fish tacos because we ate them too fast. By far the BEST Mexican street tacos we have EVER had!

Best Shrimp and Fish tacos we have EVER had! So fresh and perfectly flavored. HIGHLY recommended!!

    Super Burrito

I came to Tacos Moreno 3 and had one of their burritos. It was one of the best burritos I've ever had. The staff provided exceptional service, and everything looked clean, fresh, and delicious. I would highly recommend that anyone visiting the area stop by and treat themselves to some delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine.

The ribs are great! Fall off the bone

Fish and shrimp tacos were great. Good cheesy quesadilla. Seemed to open about 15 minutes later than what was posted on yelp(12 pm).

AI (so it sounds EpiC!!!!!!!!) says: "San Marco Taqueria in Capitola is a pretty popular spot, known for its solid Mexican food, and their breakfast burrito is definitely a crowd favorite! If I remember right, their breakfast burritos are loaded with a good mix of eggs, bacon or sausage, hash browns, and cheese, all wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. They've got that perfect balance of hearty and comforting--plus, their salsa is pretty legit! Have you been there before or just heard good things about their breakfast burrito?" The breakfast burrito was hot. (temperature-wise) It was filled with plenty of fillings, but potatoes and eggs only go so far. The winning solution was the salsa in the ketchup squeeze bottle looking things at the window. Unfortunately, I ran low on that stuff not even half way consuming the burrito. Fortunately, the burrito was a decent size. Win some, lose some. Got a chorizo breakfast burrito and wasn't overwhelmed by the meat content. Sort of wanted that to happen. Nice outdoor seating with a window to the outside, probably for serving customers who didn't want a roof. Bowls of water (a couple, at least) for the dog were found outside. Don't forget the salsa. (That's your flavor...everything else...meh...)

You have to find parking maybe blocks away and walk here but it is a very good place. Also tons of offerings for food. Do not let your eyes order for you because their super taco is massive. I thought the super taco just meant it was a regular street taco with more filling inside but I was severely mistaken. It is an actual burrito size tortilla. I ordered an al pastor taco that came with a lot of lettuce. I ate it, and the next day I got extremely sick with what felt like the worst food poisoning I've ever experienced. It was bad enough that it honestly traumatized me from eating Mexican food altogether. And just to give you an idea of how bad the experience was--I love Mexican food, and I haven't eaten it at all since then. It took me months to even feel comfortable enough to leave this review. I really liked this place before, so I'm not saying this lightly. If you decide to go, I personally would avoid the al pastor tacos and anything that comes with their lettuce. I haven't gone back since.

Whatever it was we all really enjoyed it. The guac was creamy and limey. Most of us got combination plates. I got the 2 items: a cheese enchilada with the carne asada taco (it's a bit of an up charge & it was definitely worth it!) the asada was so delicious! Chewy and flavorful. The enchilada sauce was perfect too. My husband's combo plate, was similar but he got 3 items, including a pork tamale. He said it was great. Other things of note: the beans were good & not runny, according to others as I don't eat beans. Rice - so good, my kid ate an entire side of it. Loved the rice. Chili verde - incredible accounting to my MIL Daily lunch specials were repriced very reasonably & there's several options.

We went on a Monday for lunch, and there was no wait; we were seated immediately. Our waiter, Josiah, took good care of us throughout, and a manager also checked on us while we were eating to make sure everything was good. I had a mai tai that was amazing with fresh pineapple taste. I also ordered the Baja fish tacos. The fish was cooked just right with great toppings, including large pieces of avocado and a Chipotle sauce. My friend ordered chips and salsa and the clam chowder. The chowder was good, and the chips were fresh, but the red salsa was very bland. Not just mild with no spice, but bland, like not even any flavor. The green salsa was slightly better. Even so, we both enjoyed our meals and drinks and thoroughly enjoyed the view. I would definitely come back here for drinks and food!
