Clean looking food truck. Good Mexican food at fair prices. Nice folks who care and seem like they really want their customers to be happy. During covid social distancing times all 3 employees wore masks. Listed prices include sales tax. I like their Birria Burrito Bowl. Friends have told me "birrua" is with goat meat however what we've gotten here is with beef. The beef is a bit spicy (perfect). Overall although the birria meat is spicy the rest of their burrito bowl could use a bit more spice on my opinion. I like it as is ... but it would be nice if overall a bit more spicy flavor. The "Super" burrito bowl costs $8 and their regular one costs $7. (May 2021). Their super one weighs a lot! :-) We'll keep coming unless things change. read more

Excellent taco truck. I enjoy the variety at tacos super tonaya! Their $tacos are 1.25. The burritos are large and flavorful for $5, I don't usually get the super burrito because the additional charge for sour cream when I got some at home. Beans and rice are good as well and only $2 for a plate. This time I decided to get the grande pastor nachos and what a treat. The tortas are my favorite and for $5, it is massively delicious. The tortilla chips for the nachos are crunchy followed by a good amount of meat, cheese, sour cream, jalapeños and tomatoes throughout the entire serving. The nachos were made quickly but had to stand in line but it is always worth the wait unless you choose to call ahead. Nice and friendly atmosphere when ordering. Best burritos and tacos in town in my opinion, excellent chorizo, carnitas, lengua, and pretty good pastor. Recently I've been enjoying their supreme quesadillas. Always very friendly, give lots of limes whenever I ask, and I'm never waiting too long. My only issue is I barely see any guacamole at all in my burritos- I always ask for extra and say I'm willing to pay for more, but no success. 5 stars if not for that small issue, I love this place! read more

The burrito regular was $5, and I expected to be just a small size burrito like most of other places. I was wrong. It was like a size of a brick. The burritos are delicious even though I can't have beans in mine (not all burritos are as delicious without beans), the quesadillas are the best in town, and both are definitely a solid amount of food. This is the best Taco wagon in Chico by far. Their food is excellent and portio s are HUGE. I highly reccomend thier Al Pastor California Burrito. The owner and his family work the truck regularly and are super friendly. One day they were closed and I went to another Taco truck and the the burrito I get was 1/2 the size and didnt tast as good. They are awesome! My recommendation is the California burrito with chorizo. I'd recommend calling in ahead to speed up the process. They make the French fries fresh so it can be a few extra minutes. Well worth the wait and the price. Love this place!! read more
