Taqueria Mita is located in the building of a former PDM restaurant and has a focused approach to excellent tacos, beers and churros. They use fresh ingredients and each night there is a special beef - last night was ribeye. There are two dining areas - a downstairs dining room and an upstairs open roof deck with views of Banderas Bay. My wife and I had dinner on the third night after it opened and the service, food quality and friendliness was perfect. The owner, Claudia, spent time after our meal talking about the business and her plans. The restaurant is very kid friendly. There are vegetarian options.
With the tacos is three types of pico de gallo and five salsas, from mild to muy caliente.
We really love the Corral de Risco village and this restaurant is yet another of the wonderful efforts by local owners to present something special. For those of you in golf carts it is easy and there is plenty of room for groups. It is close to Anclote - less than one block. read more
