McCullough Law

A few years ago, I was looking for a law firm to help me create a trust. I had consultations with…read more4 other respected firms, but was still uneasy about moving ahead. Luckily, I found McCullough Sparks and after confirming that Lee and Randy are licensed in California, I made an appointment for a consult. I knew within minutes of my initial consultation, I found the right people to work with. Two out of the four other law firms I consulted with are considered the best in field and one of them is internationally known in regards to asset protection. Regardless of the other firms' reputation, not one of the lawyers I consulted with held a candle to Randy and Lee's ability to creatively find solutions for the challenging needs of my trust. I have found both Lee and Randy to be very professional, reasonable in fees, understanding, and unusually creative. Since creating my trust, they have been receptive to any additional questions and concerns I've had. Randy has also just helped me make an update to my original trust. It took me several weeks to find this law group and I am so glad I did not settle with a law firm until I was completely comfortable. Had I been impatient, I would have gone with a firm that would have been twice the price for significantly less satisfying results in regards to future trust management. I give McCullough Sparks my very highest recommendation. They have completely changed my attitude towards the general reputation of lawyers. They break the mold and have been a huge blessing to myself and my family.

Will continue to update as I continue to work with them but so far they have been very attentive and professional. I don't think their bad rating on Yelp is deserved.

Legally Mine has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I've ever had with…read morea business. I signed up after hearing one of their speakers at a professional conference. The presentation was polished, confident, and clearly aimed at people who were worried about protecting what they had worked their whole lives to build. They made it sound simple: pay them, trust their process, and they would help put the right protections in place. That has not been my experience. From the moment I signed up, communication became inconsistent and confusing. I was told certain filings were being handled. I was told documents were moving forward. I was told not to worry. But every time I followed up, the story changed. At one point, I was assured that my business paperwork was being taken care of. Weeks passed. Then more weeks. After multiple emails and calls, I eventually found out that little to nothing had actually been completed. Because I trusted what they told me, the launch of my business was delayed by months. We filled out paperwork. We paid fees. We waited for updates that never came. When we finally did hear back, it was always another excuse: they were short-staffed, our file was still being reviewed, someone else needed to look at it, the timeline had changed, or they were "working through a backlog." No one clearly explained the process. No one gave us a reliable timeline. No one took ownership. The worst part is that the whole service is sold on trust. They present themselves as the people who will help protect you from risk, confusion, and legal exposure. But once they had our money, we were the ones left exposed -- chasing updates, trying to understand what had been done, and wondering whether anything they promised was actually happening. I reached back out to the person whose presentation convinced me to sign up in the first place. No response. That tells you almost everything you need to know. Legally mine may know how to sell fear, but they do not know how to deliver confidence. Their customer service has been poor, their communication has been worse, and the value they provided did not come close to matching what they promised. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This was a waste of time, money, and trust. For all the guidance we actually received, we could have done the paperwork ourselves and saved months of frustration.
