Went to the lecture given by Dan McNeff in Las Vegas. He promotes his company as specializing in asset protection and lawsuit prevention. I stayed and asked a few questions after the lecture and he gave me legal and tax advice that I could use even if I wasn't a client. Turns out he is not a lawyer or an accountant. This company offers no value for the $5,000 price tag (plus $200 a month) This company has faced scrutiny and lawsuits, including a recent case in Ohio where the Supreme Court found them engaged in the unauthorized practice of law, leading to a consent decree and fines. read more

They promised asset protection assistance but my name was all over the stat's website as the owner of the entities being created. I had signed up for their ongoing legal services, but good luck at getting that actually set up. They will put you off for weeks, then told me they couldn't give legal advice in Ohio because the state had an issue with what they were advising...not good. Said they would give a refund for those services, but never saw a dime...stay away. This is a scam and a ripoff. read more

Very disappointed. They did a presentation at a medical society meeting in Florida . They were endorsed by the medical society sponsoring the meeting. What a mistake I made signing with them. First I had my finances and assets well protected but they told me that I was paying too much on taxes and they could save me a "bundle". Since I did not need the asset protection from their services, they sold me the tax saving part of their services for a mere $2500 instead of the full package of $8000. So gullible that I am, I fell for it. We had some conference calls and basically the "attorney I was working with said that he wasn't a tax attorney and referred me to the tax attorney. We had one conference call and when I called for the follow up the appointments never developed, he was busy or on vacation, whatever but not available. eventually they stop answering my emails and I am out $2500 and still paying quite a bit in income taxes. No refund. Last email I sent I asked for refund or I would leave a bad review, email was ignored so here it is. Don't fall for their lies. read more

Their guarantee was that they would save more than their fee during the first year or they would give 100% refund. NEVER GOT A REFUND AND THEY WILL NOT ANSWER MY EMAILS. Once I paid they were impossible to contact and talk to them. after 6 months they sent a 2 page document that was ridiculous and listed my own company. The would email back after a couple of days and say they would set up a phone conference. When I could get a phone conference they would talk for a while and say they would work on things. I had been a Legally Mine Premium Plus member on and off for more than 8 years. Their initial presentation of understanding asset protection made a lot of sense to me, and I purchased the membership that included unlimited entity creation. After restructuring mine and my husband's businesses, as well as updating our Living Will and Family Trust, I felt I was in very good hands with this company. Over the past few years, however, they have continuously dropped the ball. I have had to pay an outside attorney to fix their mistakes, they "forgot" to renew my business that they created in the state of Alaska (which they were currently acting as the registered agent for), and they actually filed a BOI for a company that I had told them was dissolved, yet neglected to file the BOIs for the active ones... unbelievable. This company is a scam! Stay away from them. They target professionals and then they take your money without doing anything. It's a nightmare to try to get in touch with them. Forget trying to get an honest answer from them. They bait and switch, and have late evening "dinner" meetings where they pressure you to sign up for their service. What everyone else said. They're dishonest thieves who don't actually even do what they say they will. Plus they over charge and then will take 6+ months to refund you when you call them out on it. Have them for asset protection and taxes. Asset protection has been fine. Taxes on the other hand they did completely wrong and then after I told them they were wrong, filed them anyway. My favorite part was when I reported them to the better business bureau and they tried saying they don't have a tax and accounting department. If you need more info than what's here, look at their complaints on the Better Business Bureau website. Or better yet, look at their responses to the complaints. I attended a late night meeting for 'Legally Mine' presented by the Stanislaus County Dental Society. Their legal scheme sounded like it might be something in which my husband & I would like to participate. I didn't feel comfortable making this decision for both of us, and spouses were not invited to this meeting. When I expressed my desire to wait until I discussed this with my husband, Christian Crabtree told me that he could take my credit card information & only run it if my husband agreed with the program. He emailed me a video that my husband should watch, similar to the presentation I had just watched. My husband watched the video, read the packet I brought home, and then called our attorney & CPA. The answer was not just 'no' but 'HELL NO! WHAT A RIP-OFF!' I emailed Mr Crabtree, and then when he DID charge my card, I emailed Madison Van Overbeek to reverse the charges immediately. Now, 19 days later, I have to do a ton of paperwork and an affidavit to my credit card company to get this charge reversed. I should have recognized the red flag when they insisted that I HAD to sign up THAT NIGHT ONLY to get the 'special pricing'. Which, according to my lawyer & CPA is about 60% overpriced!!! I reached out to Legally Mine for asset protection. After meeting with one of their attorneys, I paid their significant fee, despite the advise of my CPA against it. Much to my surprise the work they did was returned to me as incorrect by the State. I followed up requesting a partial refund. I was told no. I did receive revised paperwork (State has still not approved second attempt) and an offer to have a discount for Premium services from them. NO THANK YOU! read more

They give you nothing but a "blueprint" and no actual documents, you just see charges accumulating up on credit card.
