The staff are a staple example of what professionalism and compassionate care should be as well. Early August, I woke up with a pinched nerve on my left shoulder/neck and was in major pain. My pain was unbearable at times, but in conjunction with chiropractic treatment and medication, I was to able to function at work during the first month. As the weeks continued, I slowly weaned off the medication and only used chiropractic care for pain treatment. By late Sept/early Oct. I was able to play sports again back to full mode. My golf game was completely back and I was able to play hockey full time again. I began my journey at Tagliarini Chiropractic a few months ago due to a car accident that left me with constant neck and back pain. Right from the start, the front desk ladies (Tanya, Rachel, and Terry) were friendly and accommodating with my crazy schedule. My consult with Dr. John was like nothing I ever experienced. I've had back and neck pain for years. I would swim and do exercises to alleviate the pain. As I got older, it seemed to affect my walking. After a fall, I was told during physical therapy that I had scoliosis. It was so severe that one leg was shorter than the other. Despite nurses' spine checks in school, yearly physicals, and even an MRI for stenosis I was never told I had scoliosis. I'm on the mend and hopeful for the first time in many years that I will be able to manage my injury and now have chronic pain every day. Blown away by my first visit. I first found Dr. Jessica through a facebook post when we were in need of a chiropractor who could help our daughter with her GI issues. Not only did she take the time to talk to me about my daughter, but she answered my original post herself which made it much or personal to me and was one of the reasons I decided to go with her. This was my first experience with chiropractic care. I came into their office with TMJ pain. After doing a complete exam, Dr. Jessica took the time to explain how she could work with me to correct my jaw, neck, and back alignment. I started coming to Tag Chiro when my midwives recommended considering them to help with alignment and prepare for delivery of my baby. I have been going to Dr. John and Dr. Jessica for over 3 years after a serious bout of sciatica that put me out of work for 5 weeks. Doctors Jessica and John Tagliarini are great chiropractors. Their office is in the Armory Building in West Hartford on Farmington Avenue. Dr Jessica is gentle with her technique but when I'm finished with an adjustment, I always feel better than when I went in. And the staff is the best. I would say the only drawback (with any chiropractor) is that my insurance has a $35 copay which curbs the frequency of visits. I know someone else who's insurance covers all but $10 so I guess it depends on who you use. read more
