This one was kind of in 3D and they handed out glasses.

Second year in a row going and definitely will be making it back again next October. Throughout the attractions, I am screaming. And by the end, I am cracking up because of how fun it is. The houses are pretty amazing, especially Motel 666. You can tell a lot of effort is being put into making these places. It was busy when we went but the lines weren't too bad, about 10 minutes at the most. Friendly staff when they weren't trying to scare the sh*t out of you!

This place is super fun, and needs to be on everyone's bucket list!…read more I've been here several times with family and friends and have had a great experience every-time. I highly recommend coming as early in the season as possible. #1 it's more enjoyable when you're not freezing to death. #2 the crowds get worse as the season goes on. There is a chart on the website that shows the busy days - use this!! The first time I came, it was late in the season and I stood in line for 3+ hours and was freezing! Since then, I have learned. Also, bring an extra jacket just in case. Everything is outside and it will get colder as the night goes on. As soon as you park, you get out of the car and are greeted with tall trees and eery music. You feel chills as you walk through the archway as "don't fear the reaper" is heard in the distance. You enter the village and wait in line as creepy figures hover around you. You'll board the wagon and I won't spoil it from there. All i will say is that the acting is on point and is very entertaining. They go all-out with everything and bring all the classics while also featuring new scares too. The blackout building and the new section (area 51 or something) is really really fun. The later is very interactive and the actors will touch you but it's so fun! I like to go once every year or two. It's a little expensive but it's worth it for sure. It's 10x better than any other haunted attraction i've ever been to. You are MISSING OUT if you don't go at least once!

I reached the end of the barn where the blackout section was and there was a whole wall fallen down. I helped the actor in that scene move the wall to the side, so no one got hurt. when i turned on my flashlight to move said wall I noticed tons of mold on the walls, not fake, REAL MOLD. after that, the "wretched woods" Is exactly as sounds, muddy dirt bike trails with little to no theming and a "wretching" feeling that I just wasted my money. Reaper's revenge is just a short 30-minute drive down I-81, Much better attraction worth the money.

It's mostly a haunted pavilion and dirt bike trail.)The beginning was great. The house, amazing. The plywood maze pavilion thing, really cool. The woods, absolutely horrible. My daughter fell In ankle deep mud 3 times. A $200 pair of sneakers pretty much destroyed. And honestly that's not even why I think it was terrible. When I decided to use a flashlight for mine and my daughter's safety because the worst, deepest mud WAS NOT LIT AT ALL, an employee yells out, "Put your flashlight away, the trail is well lit, you don't need it. Only P*****s need flashlights". that whole interaction was wrong on multiple levels. Will never come back and share my experience whenever appropriate.

Ok So I guess this was the first time the hayride was happening...since...COVID!!! What joke! Both…read moreare jokes lol I went to another one in the Rochester area last year. It was fun. I THINK this one was slightly better. It was longer, spent more time in the woods, etc. The haunted house was fun. However, last years haunted house and haunted maze was better. Both I believe are owned and operated by the same people? company? Basically if you like haunted hayrides, you will love both of these. I used to go to hayrides all the time when I was in high school. So when I am back home in the Fall, I will always go to one. They're very nostalgic for me. But holy hell! are they expensive AF! now! This one I think was like $36! I mean, I get these people have to get paid...but holyyyyy shiiiiiiit lol. Thats just wild to me. I would also expect the ride to be just a tad longer for almost $40 but whatever. Its still a fun time. Worst part about it. The wait time. Wanna get in early....go as early as possible. We were in line for 2 hours OUTSIDE the venue! THEN you get inside and wait in a barn for your number to be called. We were 267. SIX SEVENNNN!!! haha! They were on 251 when we finally got inside. So it was a good hour or two before we got called to our ride. We get in the barn to wait for the ride and it was another 25-30 mins. Y'all! the wait times are INSANE!!! and for $40!!! wild how long you have to wait. The actual ride was like 30ish mins. That might be me being a tad generous lol You can buy snacks and drinks while you wait. Be prepared to shell out a ton more for that. NOT cheap. The waiting area where you wait for your hayride is SO SMALL!! Last years is a wide open area, plenty of room to move around.. This place PACKS you in! Its crazy. HUNDREDS of people packed in to this small area like cattle. Buy your tickets online. Does that help you get in faster? HELL. NO!! Does it make you think you will get in faster....sure does! hahaha! Literally ZERO benefit to buying tickets online. They will tell you (as they did us) "oh yeah! definitely a benefit! I have the power to get you on the ride faster!" That did not happen lol. I think there is fast pass ticket available...ONLINE! of course, but they sell out super fast. So, in conclusion lol. If you don't mind LONG ass lines, long ass wait times, tons and tons of people while you wait...expensive snacks and drinks....then this will be fun for you! It really is fun....especially for some of us who used to go a long time ago. Here in Idaho we do not have haunted hayrides...at least nothing like the ones back east. There are no wooded areas here in Boise. So any kind of hayride would be in a corn field. Sure, that could be fun, but going through a wooded area is better and adds to the "scare" factor of it all. I have noticed the other reviews mention the cost and long lines. Y'all I am telling you straight UP! the lines are some of the most insane I have ever experienced and especially for the money you spend to go. 2 stars I think is appropriate bc even tho I did have fun, I do hate when places like this take advantage of their customers the way this place does. They legit have to respect for their customers. Like so many places...it's ALL about how much they can make and this place makes BANK!!! Verhulst is the one I went to last year. Still pricey, but all around...a better experience when it comes down to it all. Sure this one was a little longer, but I dunno, the vibe at Verhulst was all together different and just...better. Choose wisely. Thanks for reading, Yelperees!! Cheers
