I've always wanted to go visit the famous lavender farm in Long Island but I never got the chance…read more Yesterday someone asked if I wanted to go to a lavender farm in NJ and I jumped at the chance. When you first pull up, it looked kind of small, but in actuality, they have four patches of lavender so it was pretty substantial. It was $21 to pick a bunch that would fit around the plastic tie they gave you. Picking is hard work in 90 degree heat so we wound up only picking one bunch and sharing the lavender. They said to dry it upside down to keep the color and shape. Highly recommend! Pro tip: go find a real restroom before you arrive because there are no restrooms. Only a porta potty but it did not smell bad. But what if someone has an accident over there one of these days? Just saying.

In these past few months at Next Level, all of my kids skills increased tenfold, as well as their confidence, and their anxiety lessened. My daughter was still able to be a part of the competition team and have a solo even though we were new. They believe in my kids and they care about them. We love Miss Gina, Ms. Dee, Ms. Katie, Ms.Ashley, Ms.Sharon, and Ms. Carissa. And what we have learned from the ballet teacher, Ms. Larissa, and her amazing structure and experience with Russian ballet is unmatched. Booked on the website as it says to, paid and everything. We get there today after receiving a reminder email and text from the website yesterday and nobody was there. Waiting in the cold for twenty minutes after calling twice during that time trying to find out what was going on and left voicemails. Mira the owner then finally calls me back as I was going home and couldn't bother to apologize and tells me all her classes for January were cancelled and then proceeds to tell me her website is "broken" and how I should've known to call her even though her website says nothing about it. Then she proceeds to basically berate me for not calling her to ask about details of the class even though her website explains what the class is. She then says that how else would I know that I need to get all the supplies. What class doesn't give you the supplies to take the class especially when there is a decent fee for the class?? And this class is also listed on Groupon! It says nothing about calling ahead of booking! Now when I'm asking this Mira for my refund she's telling me I wasn't charged when I told her exactly how its listed on my card from when I was charged. Don't give business to this scammer!
