I'm gonna be honest. I haven't used them since it was FRANKS CAR WASH.... I was in a terrible state of mind as I'd just received some bad news and was having a terrible day,but decided my car needed some much past due love. The car came out and had soap on it still. That didn't help. Thankfully the manager was extremely patient with me, and was beyond calm and professional. Bottom line they have a solid team and got the ol 300 looking back to its glory. Beautiful job in and out. Tipped them a decent amount for what I had and what was fair. 33$ for what they did and then I gave them $5 a piece for their attention to detail. All of them were very professional and polite. I'll be back. FYI I wasn't expecting that level of attention to my car or to me. You would pay 2 to 3 times more for that level of effort and cleaning inside and outside anywhere else. Trust me. It's a great place. Just communicate with your needs and let them handle the rest. I took my car to be cleaned up and i know my wipers were off and they came on during the wash and were ripped off and it cost me 72.00 to replace them plus the 31 i paid for the car was so I would recommend not going there. I was not even told anything until I went out and asked what was taking so long. then I found out about the damage. I spoke to the Manager 12/19 and was told they would do nothing that most cars were already damaged when people brought them in so instead of taking responsibility for this they blamed me the customer. I know there are signs but my wipers were off so it was an employees fault. I would not recommend this place and i will never go back. I rolled up my window and the window 'magically' rolled itself down and I got to ride home in my wet seat after waiting 20 minutes for 2 people to dry the car off. Wet seat, streaked, lint covered windows, grease smear on passenger seat, $26, ... and I got to hear the manager cussing like crazy... with mf, gd flying around... all while in a conference call with management that he muted himself so they couldn't hear home talking to employees! $63 for a car wash! That includes tips. Just for a half ass job. I could've done better than they did. Weren't happy to clean the car but sure more than happy to take the tips. Since when do you have to ask for the back window to be cleaned. Since when does the trunk not get vacuumed. I would've been off cleaning my own car! I will say the young girl who vacuumed the car was extremely nice, as well as the older lady up front but not once did i think my car would be barely cleaned. My rugs never left the car! You can definitely tell it isn't Franks anymore. Will be spending my money elsewhere. Place could be great they do have a few whom are very nice but that's it. read more

took my Honda Accord to this Take 5 car wash at 516 Columbia Ave in Lexington SC on Thursday, January 18. Service was fantastic. Josh and Jeremy cleaned my car from top to bottom on the outside and on the inside. They were both working very hard and represented the ideals of the company extremely well. Jeremy did a great job. Had mud caked on the undercarriage that came off. Also quick and thorough job with wiping.

If I could give zero stars. I would. Horrible wash. They do nothing to clean the inside of the car. Had to ask to vacuum twice because it was so poorly done. The windows were still dirty after I left. No attention to detail. Wash it yourself. And I ended up cleaning the inside myself... read more

Have been a customer of Franks for many years, recently took my vehicle to Take 5 in Lexington, bought the "Ultimate Service". Waited 35 minutes in line, lady came out and collected all of the stubs from windows in line and took to the back wash entrance. When I finally got to the vacuum station the workers had a stack of receipts mixed and had no idea of what I purchased. My vehicle went thru wash, total mix up on what wax, the wipe down was a joke, windows more streaked that when I entered. Only 4 people wiping down multiple vehicles. Horrible service. I would not recommend Take 5 Car Wash. Take 5 bought out Frank's Car Wash and I have been using Frank's for over 30 years and we have always had 3 vehicles. I just recovered from 2 major surgeries that prevented me from driving since February. I still had car wash coupons from Frank's and just found out that Take 5 will not accept the coupons, so I am out about $100. I filled out a 'contact us' form online about it and they refused to reply, which means they do not care and will not honor any of them, so after using the Frank's on Columbia Ave for 30+ years, I refuse to patronize any Take 5 Car Wash in the future. I will go to Marty's in Lexington with all 3 vehicles...Take 5's loss. read more

This used to be my go-to car wash and I had no complaints. Now it seems to have changed ownership/management? and I received my car back with standing water in all floor mats, an unvacuumed trunk, uncleaned seats and seat backs and windows only done on the outside. When I pointed the trunk out I was told to go and use their free vacuums! All this was covered in the price of my car wash, mind you. The inside wipe down was horrible, they put a big deep scratch on my glove box, tires were partially cleaned. No one was manning the cars coming out of the wash, I had to move my car before the next one came out. We have used Franks Carwash for years and have always been happy with the quality of the job they do. However the last few times they have been slack in their work. As of 12/29/22 I will never return to any of their locations again. My husband spent an hour and a half trying to get our car washed and dried at the Frank's on Columbia Ave in Lexington SC. During said time they half washed my car, I have some kind of sticky something on it that no one removed. There were huge spots that were missed completely around the tag is dirty. The floor mat on the passenger side was standing in water which turned into mud that I stepped in getting I to my car. To top everything off after coming out of the Carwash 3 vehicles that exited behind my husband were finished up before my husband. Now w not only is my car sticky it's spotty as well. I went there today for the first time in years. I've never gotten a good result from there until today! I wasn't able to go to my regular carwash and my car was nasty so I gave them another try. I am very glad I did! My car looks great and because of the job done by the man outside after the washed. I watched him and the others while I sat there. The gentleman with an eye patch wiped down the inside of the door panels, the car, back door hatch, the windows- everything and the old Ford looked great! Where do I start? I have been a customer for decades. The only automatic car wash I will use. But, they sold out to a large company. I don't blame them. At my age, I would do the same. I had a membership (Actually 3 memberships every month) which stopped renewing automatically. So I didn't use the wash for a while. Yesterday, I decided to give them another chance. I took 2 vehicles to 2 different locations. This is what I found both times. The first thing was handwritten signs on the pay stand. Credit card only. No cash. As I entered, I noticed the brushes were worn way down. As I exited the blower/drier, the blowers have had their timer reduced, and they only blew off half of both vehicles. (One long pickup, one very short suv.) I pull to the vacuums and get out my brand new microfiber towels and begin to wipe down. The rinse water would not dry cleanly. I also had water spots, which only smeared. As I go down the side, there is still road film on the doors. (Remember the worn out cloth "brushes?) The wheels were not even close to clean, and the tire shine was basically non-existent. Talk about going from the penthouse to the outhouse! 2 strikes, and I'm outa here. read more
