I cannot give this business enough praise. Before scheduling with them I had called over a dozen…read moredifferent infusion places, very few had a real person to answer the phone. But I got ahold of Edward, who was at a location further from my home, and then Kristen. Both were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. This past year I had an extremely negative experience when I needed an infusion and ended up with an unexpected bill. Kristen and Premier were very sensitive to this and put up with a grumpy old man. I felt as though they went way above and beyond to assist me through this process. They reached out to my doctors office and corrordinated with the staff there to assist me. When I was reaching out to other centers some of them made the comment "we don't do stand alone iron infusions, there's just not enough money in it for us..." At Premiere I never felt like it was about the $$ or a profit, I felt valued and that their biggest concern was my health, getting the treatment I needed and addressing my insurance and financial concerns. Kristin made me feel valued, genuinely concerned and empathetic. When I arrived at the center I was warmly treated and it was a very comforting pleasant atmosphere. I was made to feel like a VIP, as if I were their only patient. Nice amenities and genuine greetings and inquiries about how I was feeling. I had two extremely friendly and attentive nurses who throughly explained everything they were going to do prior to proceeding. They were attentive to my needs and made me feel welcome and comfortable. There is no doubt in my mind where I will be going when I need this service again.

Ridiculous to pay a hefty charge for a question that the doctor probably took a minute to answer. Didn't receive any notification that this change was taking effect or never would have sent a question. EDIT: I did a Google search and found this: "While most MyChart messages will remain free, replies that require medical expertise and more than five minutes of your provider's time may be billed, as we do for other medical services. If a MyChart message is billable, we will first bill your insurance provider, as we do for all other medical services."

No insurance department. Representatives with little insurance knowledge had to answer the calls,…read moreand patients can't get the answer. Doctor office doesn't even know if she/he accepts a specific insurance plan. Unlike other medical systems who list the names of accepted insurance policies, Duly only lists categories under each insurance company, and patients/representatives/even the doctor's office itself have to guess if an insurance policy is accepted. Insurance company wants me to double check with the doctor's office, supposedly there should be two way communication that each side can confirm. How ridiculous! Manage your organization better!!!! I've heard that their billing department is horrible too - not surprised

He does not use any assistive devices, yet they kept insisting it was in his chart he did. My concern is they didn't have the correct patient because they didn't ask for the required identifiers. After his procedure, they wouldn't let him sit up on side of cart to get dress because they were afraid he would get dizzy. Instead, he struggled to get his pants and shirt on while lying flat. They immediately got to the wheelchair while never assessing if he was dizzy after getting him up from lying position. Almost forgot to take out his IV. Nurse extremely rude and don't follow current practice standards. As a nurse, I have to say this ambulatory surgical center provides poor nursing care. His surgeon was great but works for Midwest Ortho. Too bad Midwest Ortho doesn't run the place.

A couple of days before my surgery, I received a phone call from this facility, telling me I needed to be there by 9:00 AM and to bring my proof of insurance. My sister drove me and came to the front desk with me to sign in, she was then told that she could not stay with me so she left and went to breakfast with her daughter. After the receptionist copied my insurance cards, she led me to the locker room, where I was instructed to strip down to my underwear. As soon as I was undressed and given a smock, I was put on a bed on wheels and they put a needle in my arm that was hooked up to a bag of fluid. I was wheeled in to the surgical area where I just sat for some time. Then one of the nurses came up to me and asked who was staying with me for the first 24 hours? I told her that nobody told me that I needed to make arrangements for someone to stay with me for the first 24 hours when they called from their facility to let me know what time I needed to be there. I also stated I would ask my sister when she came back. Several different nurses started coming up to me with iPads for me to sign my signature and documents before I was wheeled into the surgery room the print was so small and my glasses were in the locker room that I couldn't even see what I was signing. I was told by them it was just basic insurance information. Then the nurse from the anesthesiology department came and asked me to sign a document to release them from all harm after my surgery for the first 24 hours. I refused to sign the document and told her that the girl that called me on the phone to tell me what time I needed to be there never told me that I needed to make arrangements for someone to stay with me the first 24 hours. She stated that they would have to cancel my surgery, I did not respond to that. Then she had the doctor come out and talk to me. I repeated to the doctor that I would ask my sister when she came back and that I was almost positive she would agree. He seemed to be ok A few minutes later, the nurse from the anesthesiology department came back and asked me to sign an another document again that I couldn't see what I was signing, again because the print was so small. She said that it had nothing to do with our previous conversation and it was just a routine paperwork. I was drowsy by then I signed the document, then she looked me in the eyes and stated "Now we are not liable". She was an evil person that wanted me to know she tricked me, had she not said anything, I would have never known this and not realized how evil these people were. That was the last thing I remembered until after the surgery was over and I was awake again. They also had me sign a document stating that the doctor explained the risks of the procedure and that all forms anesthesia involve some risks and no guarantees or promises concerning the results of my surgery. This was never told to me either. The Oak Brook Medical and Surgical Center is an inferior crooked business with cold and unfriendly employees. They also have a lot of bad reviews on Yelp and other websites. I now realize that what they do when you get there is designed to get you to sign their documents without being able to see what you are signing. I have never been to a hospital or doctor's office where this signing of documents is not done at the front desk, where you could read the actual copies of what you were signing. This rushing you in is designed to take advantage of you. I will never go back to the facility again for anything, and I would advise the general public to stay away from them. I also believe that the State of Illinois needs to step in and change the way they are doing business and taking advantage of people. I also read online that were billing patients over what their insurance coverage. When I called Medicare, I was told that even though they haven't billed me yet, they have my account noted that I will be over billed over my coverage. I also believe that the State of Illinois needs to step in and change the way they are doing business and taking advantage of people. They billed Medicare $28,000 for the surgery on my two toes. I was fortunate to have good insurance companies. They got nowhere near what they were asking for. My surgery was 01/17/25. On March 3, 2025 I received an another bill in the mail which was a duplicate of one that was already paid by my insurance but it had a different doctor's name on it. I called them and told them that they had to process it through both of my insurance companies before I would pay it. They don't give up!
