This is a really cute ramen place with adorable anime wall art, and cute slogans. This is a one-stop for ramen and boba. The fried chicken ramen was tasty with karaage chicken that was nice and crispy, and a yummy chicken broth. It was not spicy enough for me despite adding chili oil to it, but it was still flavorful. Would recommend the fried chicken ramen, or just getting the karaage chicken. The honeydew green tea was delicious and not too sweet. The boba was more like a jelly rather than the typical gelatinous and chewy boba. The crystal boba tasted good, but I did miss out on my typical tapioca boba experience. The green tea mochi dessert was a nice light and delicious ending to the meal, and wanted more after (I held off because I was already so full). They also have a strawberry flavor available. Would definitely recommend the mochi dessert. They also had the cutest utensils that were all wooden. read more

Came here with my family for dinner on the way back to NJ from Virginia and this was the perfect dinner spot! The vibe was great. It was a cozy restaurant with really well done wall art. Anime fans will appreciate. Additional, our waitress was super friendly and attentive. Gave us some great recommendations and overall had a bubbly personality. The food was excellent. Not only was there a wide selection of "noodle" and "besides noodle" dishes, but there was also a bunch of specials to choose from as well. - Noodle-wrapped shrimp: get this! It was DELICIOUS. Basically a better version of fried shrimp. I could've easily eaten a bunch of those as a meal - Miso Ramen: so good! The spice was perfect and the broth was super rich and flavorful. My only knock is that the Chashu pork pieces were a bit smaller than I'd expected. But otherwise, an excellent dish. Really enjoyed the mushrooms! - Ramen special with Shrimp Tempura & karaage chicken: this was one of the specials. Had beef broth and Udon noodles. And my dad got some chili oil added to it as well. Wish it wasn't $1 just to make spicier, but oh well- it was so worth it. I loved how well the tempura batter and karaage chicken held up to the broth. Both stayed nice and crispy throughout the meal. - kaarge chicken ramen: my mom got this with no spice (not great with spicy food) and loved it. Ultimate couldn't finish so ended up getting a box to go with her leftover broth and noodles. I didn't get to try this, but she really enjoyed it. Atmosphere is energetic and fun. Service is prompt and courteous. The owners are lovely. Food is top notch. Pork rice bowl is delish as well as the black garlic ramen. The Boba is the juice variety- with juice bubble boba. I prefer milk tea boba with tapioca pearls but that's just my preference. Recently I went for a takeout order of Miso Ramen. I think the black garlic ramen was better. I don't know maybe b/c it was a busy dinner rush but my broth wasn't very hot and the noodles seemed a bit al dente. read more

It's a cute smaller restaurant with a larger window to "people watch". Myself and friend sat at their bar area and were waited on in a reasonably timeframe. We both got a bubble drinks and were offered to sample some bubbles we weren't sure of. Which was stood since it was an odd flavor and we didn't care for it. She ordered a ramen dish and I got the Sukiyaki Don. Both were large helping of food. My friends didn't rave about her soup or say it was bad. I did not care for my meal. A lot of rice and lacked flavor. I had asked for hot sauce like sriracha but they only had hot pepper flakes in oil. Over all not terrible and I would try it again and get ramen next time. I tried the Mango slushy boba and Spicy Beef Ramen. It was savory and did not have an overpowering salt taste. I did not care for the shredded beef but it did add great flavor to the broth. Well well well... a ramen spot in this area... finally! We've got a really great pho spot in the Faigrounds Markets, and some decent ones scattered around, but Ramen has always been at least 30 minutes away(Lancaster) or an hour (philly/Allentown) ... now, here we have one in West Reading! I went in with low expectations, my last ramen experience, was at Issei in Lancaster, and I absolutely loved it... then the pandemic hit, stuff got shut down, and well, it's been almost 3 years since I had real deal ramen... so I thought my memories may not live up to actual taste. First of all, you walk in, greeted almost immediately by the hostess, and are taken to your table (minor complaint, we were at one of the two seaters towards the bathroom, ours, and our neighbors' tables rock really badly, probably should invest in something to balance these guys out), and you can check out the menu. We split an app of pork gyoza with dipping sauce, and I ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen. The gyoza were very good. These are either handmade, or made to look handmade, either way they are awesome. The pork was seasoned wonderfully, and the fried outer shell was delicious. The dipping sauce was also very very good, and the scallions made the perfect little bite when you got a piece. Ramen came out, the bowls were HUGE and there were a ton of noodles and accompaniments in the bowl. The broth was very flavorful, could have been a little bit hotter, but this was perfect for a warm summer day I didn't need to sweat from lunch too, the pork was fantastic had a really nice taste, almost like it was smoked then fried, amazing. We will definitely be back, and this will be a new regular rotations in our lunch/dinner spots. So glad to have real ramen in West Reading. read more

Honestly some of the best ramen I've had (and I've had a lot of ramen lol) If you're getting ramen in Reading don't bother going anywhere else; Takkii Ramen is the best! All the toppings were delicious, the noodles and broth were so rich and flavorful, and the serving size was on the slightly larger side! I also had a blueberry green tea with passionfruit boba and it was incredible and not at all bitter which you sometimes get with green tea. Service was great and so kind and attentive and the ambiance is really relaxed and not too loud or crowded. The place is small and beautifully decorated. They were super busy when we went but we still got seated right away. The staff is really nice but some of the food and drinks items in the menu needs a little bit of work-the Mango slush that I ordered was a too watery for my taste and the Karaage chicken that we ordered was a little tough to chew but the Takoyaki, Tempura, and especially the Black Tonkatsu Ramen were delicious. I went there on a Sunday for the first time and the place is nice and clean but the service felt quick, me and my partner got 2 milk teas with boba the drinks were good but the boba wasn't fully cooked.
