I like Japanese food. Maybe because it has a tendency to be not as oily as Filipino or Western dishes. I mean, most of us have already tried Japanese. Rarely do I come across a dish or a treat that's too oily.
Having to work or intern at Metro Manila has sometimes forced me to leave home on an empty stomach. This meant adapting to my situation by picking up a bite to eat at whatever food stall that just happens to be right along the way.
Takuyaki is a refreshing kind of food stand. It doesn't serve the usual siomai, or things that tend to be of the meat processed and deep fried variety. Price is affordable, but I wish they'd at least serve four instead of three pieces. Taste and quality, I'd have to say that you get a little bit more than what you pay for which is for me a massive plus. read more
