Whitney the owner was a great host with lots of suggestions.

My husband and I spent the last night of our honeymoon here and we were the only guests. We stayed in the Denali Suite and it was beyond words. Maleia, the caretaker, was so kind and warm. She cooked the absolute best savory waffles for breakfast for us in the morning with homemade berry scones. (Not to mention the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies that were waiting for us when we checked in that were divine.) Maleia also owns the most beautiful white dog, Freija, who is so sweet and lovable. Our room was incredible - with large windows facing Denali. The bed was comfy and the sheets were warm. There was a clawfoot tub for taking a bubble bath which was incredible. A coffee maker is in the room and two overstuffed chairs facing the windows to enjoy the morning view with your coffee. My only regret was not staying here longer. But the next time we are in Alaska, we will be coming to Talkeetna and staying at the Denali Overlook Inn for at least a week.

They have this system down to a science. Lots of fun things throughout the property. The pilots are all knowledgeable and qualified. The flight time was much longer than expected, the landing was unbelievable- how amazing we LANDED on a glacier and took off again! I flew with KYLE and he was so patient and answered everyone's questions. He knew all the peaks and glaciers by name. It is 100% worth the price and absolutely THE THING TO DO since you're coming to the interior to see Denali! Lots of restrooms, glacier boots to keep your feet dry and plenty of room in the plane!

My best friend/(soul sister) and my Godson came up from Wyoming and we had the best time. The pilot was phenomenal! We landed on a glacier and took some incredible photos. My Godson even sat copilot.
