The man in charge was super friendly and seemed knowledgeable about the business. We talked through the ideas, made measurements and agreed on fonts, colors and logos. Considering that the holiday was coming up, he said it would be the second week of September 2022. I paid the deposit and looked forward to the finished product. October I emailed without a response and the next week I called. The same man said that to to trademark the logos couldn't be done, but if I ordered them from Amazon and mailed them to him they could be sewed on! I ordered the logos after I ended our phone call. As soon as they came in the mailed, I mailed them to Creative Stitches. We had agreed that I'd pick up 10/25/2022 because I would be near the shop and it's an hour and 15 min drive for me. That very day I went into the store to receive the duffel bags. The same man came to the front and proceeded to tell me that he hadn't even started on the bags nor did he obtain the 35$ worth of logos in the US MAIL! I was robbed of my time, effort and logos! Very very upset with the lies, run around and unprofessional manner in which this was handle!

Eat Sleep Knit is home to a mammoth selection of quality, hand-dyed yarns and knitting/crocheting supplies. They do most of their business online but their bricks and mortar shop/warehouse is currently open from 12-3 PM Tuesdays through Saturdays.  Regarding COVID-19 precautions, they only allow 10 customers inside at a time (a sign outside instructs you to take a number), and masks are required. There's plenty of room to maneuver away from other shoppers since the floor is spacious. The skein shopping is unparalleled, with cubbies upon cubbies of favorites like Malabrigo, Madelinetosh, Manos del Uruguay, and Cascade. I had to refrain from prancing and twirling around in the aisles all giddy. The quantities and colorways are eye-popping! ESK has a Yarnathon rewards program where you can get bonuses for reaching yardage milestones. You also receive a scratch-off lotto ticket each time you buy something; you can score prizes like store credit and extra yardage. The employees are nice and helpful so don't hesitate to ask for assistance. And there's more yarn in the back in case you don't see what you need. I've also ordered online; purchases are shipped the next day or so, packed in bright tissue paper. Somehow I thought that this one would be different and carry more mature and tasteful items. I love the idea of having items monogrammed and wanted to see what they had to offer and I was rather disappointed. The best way to experience this type of shop is just to purchase something of quality elsewhere and have it monogrammed here. I always think that is great to add a personal monogram to your child's favorite items such as clothing, gymbags, electronic gear covers, and more to make them extra special. Also if they have a unique name like mine, it is also nice to have it monogrammed on certain items. As a child, it was very rare to see my name, (correctly spelled) on anything, but when I did find it, I was elated! This store did have great souvenir t-shirts and gave me some ideas for a specific wedding gift.
