I like that their classes are practical and there is something to be learned regardless of skill levels. I like that their classes teach techniques applicable to all sewing, not just embellishments and that class projects are useful items, because who doesn't love a colorful quilt? I like their selection of quality fabrics and tools. And they have a machine for every budget. I especially like that my personal experience snd what I've observed of others is that everyone is treated with respect; everyone is a valued customer but it's more than that... everyone is treated as a friend. There is no pressure or up-selling. There is engaging conversation and curiosity as in what brought you here and how can they help? And no question is too difficult. If one doesn't know, the whole staff will lean in to help. And yet, you can shop in undisturbed peace, none of the noisy chaos of some other stores. I would definitely recommend the beginner sewing class with Kim. She was great. It was a fun set up and I brought my own sewing machine to class. She gave helpful tips and ask any question you want and she'll be ready to answer. The selection of fabrics are also amazing. I believe I got a great value for the price of the course. I absolutely love this store and their staff. I was new to sewing and wanted to know more about embroidery and they spent so much time with me helping decide what machine was best for me. I definitely felt overwhelmed with all of their knowledge but the great thing is, if you purchase a machine from them you get free unlimited guide lessons with the purchase! I couldn't make the classes but I easily setup a one on one guide lesson with Jordan and one with Lauren. I just can't say enough about how awesome and supportive everyone in that store is. read more

Wool pressing mats! Yass! They have them and more. I'm just a little excited because I've been looking for them about town. This shop focuses on machine embroidery and classes. I was impressed by the quality of the snippet of a lesson we heard. My focus is hand embroidery so I have no need for most of their stock. However, they have a big selection of tools and sewing feet which I will come back for. They also have a nice assortment of fabrics, although it isn't a huge selection. read more
