Please take that into consideration when writing your review". As a healthcare professional, I understand this request since I try everyday to do MY BEST on the frontlines. However, when you walk into a store and NO ONE greets you or attempts to show any interest in you as a customer, it's a sad statement about their business priority. This is not the first time of this occurrence, so what was the excuse during the previous visits a few years ago? Honestly, I can not imagine owning a retail store, especially during this extreme economic downturn, and not being enthusiastic/helpful to a potential customer. Acknowledging your presence and being helpful is a BASIC retail business expectation. My business will go elsewhere since they apparently have all they need with their current client base.

They also have a workroom for classes with lots of sample quilts hanging on the walls. It has a pleasant ambiance with plenty of light and very helpful staff. I had to request help a couple times and they did their best to find suitable materials for my needs. Whenever I visit, I always notice the customer interactions, and it is reassuring to see the pleasantries and smiles on people's faces. It is a different experience than the chain stores! I also like the fact that they have a wide range of colors- toned down, nursery, wide back, batiks, civil war reproductions, moda, etc. Note, there is a gravel parking lot right next to the building that is easy to get in and out of (just be mindful of the traffic).

They've got reproduction fabrics and quilt squares from the Civil War era and the 1930's, they hold quilting classes, and are very willing (and able) to help you with your quilting and sewing projects. Chickamauga, GA is a cool historical town next to the 5600-acre Chickamauga National Battlefield, and well worth the visit. This stores niche is in the reproduction fabrics and quilting supplies. They also have quilts for sale as well. 20 minutes (or less) south of Chattanooga, you can visit the Chickamauga NMP, Chickamauga, get an ice cream or pizza or Mexican food down the street, come during a festival, and then check out this fantastic fabric store!
