Their programming is uplifting, faith-filled, and always leaves me encouraged. They're a consistent provider of Christian content 24/7, which means I can always find something inspiring no matter the time of day. Plus, I absolutely love the locally produced program "Around the Bend"--it's such a great way to stay connected to what's happening in our community. I love that they're not just a station--they're a community. Whether I'm watching on TV or streaming at wvup.net, I know I'm getting content that matters and makes a positive difference. And they do. When you've got Janis Joplin in between Matchbox Twenty and the Police, yes, you do play anything. I had a good two or three hours of The Tally this afternoon and the music was pretty darned good. Very few DJ interruptions, if any. It was A-OK. Seriously though, our sales reps are some of the best in the industry...not because they sell, but because they listen, recommend, and do what is in the best interest of the customer. If that means selling a huge advertising program, then great, but mostly it is smaller easy to afford programs for the small business owner designed attract a reasonable amount of business. If you are a small business in need of new customers, call AT&T Advertising Solutions, they are no longer just the yellow pages, but are leaders in internet advertising as well through yellowpages.com, and the major search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc).

Plus, I can listen to WFSU in the car (it's the only time I don't tune in to another NPR station via the Internet). However, WFSU's local news is dismal at best. It also feels like a jagged jump in quality when national content is followed by local stories. There's also plenty of dead air, poorly timed rollovers, and the same recorded weather forecast airs all throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday (i.e., you'll be told to expect a high temperature in the 50s while listening at 8:00 pm). FSU Headlines is nothing more than a FSU public relations effort (it's definitely NOT objective news). The so called "Medical Minute" is obviously an advertisement disguised as a short segment. I supposed I've been spoiled by professional NPR member stations in other markets.
