He had a great suggestion it was delicious. Bartender checked frequently on everyone at the bar even with how busy it was. For me it's a bar in a college town on Aggie street so you expect some issues but I'm going to guess someone had seafood that night as it had a heavy smell of the seafood or old beer as they have their own brews Overall I enjoyed it and would recommend it for the food n staff.

Upon arrival, I got a glass (used for tasting but we could take it home). Tallgrass filled it with Halfpipe, a citrus-y IPA. There was a pretzel-necklace-making station which was funny. Some people were very creative. The Red State Blues band performs at the ampitheatre. The zoo, while closed to the public, is open for wandering at this event. It can get dark and creepy without much light and lots of animals. There are zoo staff members walking around with animals to touch during the event too. There were 12 breweries this year and several food stations. Free State was not there this year, unfortunately. However, we tried some great beers. One I liked was from Kansas Territory Brewing Company. We wandered, sipped, and had make-your-own sundaes. I enjoyed this event as always with some of the same people I went with two years ago. Last year I took my dad and he liked it a lot too. It is a fun way to support the zoo while tasting great regional beers.
