Some people were very creative. The Red State Blues band performs at the ampitheatre. The zoo, while closed to the public, is open for wandering at this event. It can get dark and creepy without much light and lots of animals. There are zoo staff members walking around with animals to touch during the event too. There were 12 breweries this year and several food stations. Free State was not there this year, unfortunately. However, we tried some great beers. One I liked was from Kansas Territory Brewing Company. We wandered, sipped, and had make-your-own sundaes. I enjoyed this event as always with some of the same people I went with two years ago.
