The coffee here is good, serving Barred One coffee, it is a nice cup. You can order the single origin if you want, which according to the Barista changes every so often. The coffee is probably not as good as Showbox coffee around the corner, but it still can stand on its own. The best part of the cafe is the food. A lot of fresh and healthier options. The most popular dish is the 'Dog' which is chirizo and eggs. However, if you are like me and love mushrooms, then you are going to love this place as they serve a mountain of mushrooms on toast - and they cook the mushrooms in pesto, which makes them awesome. The service here is good - nothing special, yet nothing to complain about. The seating arrangements is the large tables that are shared by all! So if you don't like things like that, then don't come here, but if you don't mind the new hipster style of seating then come along and share your space.

I think that this place does all the things necessary to be a good cafe- funky interior, great tasting and interesting food, and not just good coffee- but a rotating bean menu. I had the fresh fig and ricotta on toast which was simply delightful. The combo of figs, ricotta, honey, walnuts and mint was a definite winner. It is a small kitchen, so if it crowded you might have to wait a bit. But that should be expected with any small cafe. What completely won it for me was the friendliness of the staff. They also offer takeaway. You can get your typical brunch items, but once 12pm rolls around you can order burgers/sandwiches as well. A lady in front of me had been busy at her machine for quite some time also. The rest of the tables were occupied by students having a gab fest and young families and couples having lazy brunches. There's 3 lonely seats at the front of the shop, which I found out later are for "waiting". As those seats have no tables, you wait there until one becomes free. The ham and cheese toastie, sounded much better than it tasted. They OD'd on the butter so I actually had to wipe my hands after each mouthful, and the mouth feel wasnt quite right. I'd absolutely come back here, but would probably opt for a takeaway rather than a sit in unless I had a lot of time on my hands. It's also not the best place to set up your laptop for a session. Last piece of advice is to take notice of the opening hours. This place is open very early (6-30am on weekdays) and as a result it also closes very early (2-30pm).
