My family and I were visiting from Los Angeles and stayed at an Airbnb nearby and visited Tang for dinner. This is not your typical Chinese restaurant. This is a high end restaurant where the chef and the waitstaff pay great attention to detail. We had raviolis to start followed by crab claws, Peking duck (forgot to take a picture), and steamed sea bass. Everything is made to order, so food took longer than what one would expect at a typical Chinese restaurant. All the plates were placed on a candle lit stand to keep food warm. Our favorite was the sea bass. It was fresh, tender, and perfectly flavored in sweet soy with ginger, scallion, and chili peppers on top. We couldn't stop eating it. Service was also very friendly and attentive - the waitstaff kept our water glasses filled and checked in on us regularly. Dinner for three was 169 euros without alcohol, which was on the expensive side for what we are accustomed to paying for Chinese food but really not much more than what we've been spending on meals in Paris (~130-140 euros). Overall, a really positive experience and a nice break from French food all the time. read more
