Tons of variety close to home. We are local and like shopping there. A lot of parking and benches for the non-shopper.

Visiting the Tanger Outlet in Myrtle Beach is something my wife and I do once a year on our vacations to Sunset Beach, NC. Not amazingly great, but not terribly bad either. We don't typically visit outlet malls any other time of the year, so it's hard to say whether this rivals any other. It's passable; the Gap typically has some good deals, and a stop by Ben & Jerry's is always in order...but other than that, you've got mainly 2 year old designs and products being sold at about half off. read more

Good place to shop and walk around. Have most stores that you can possibly imagine, and then some. They even have QVC shop. Didnt know there is such thing. Bought some samsonite luggage and batteries. read more

I have been coming to these outlets annually for five years now. Although certain aspects have changed, the concept is still the same. There are a great variety of stores that offer some of the BEST prices. A few of the places you must visit are Coach, Adidas, Fossil, Michael Kors, Old Navy, Tommy Hilfiger, Vanity Fair, The Cosmetic Company, Disney Store, North Face, and Guess. Sadly, there is no Nike outlet, but there are plenty of many other great places to find excellent deals. read more

Shops are great, layout is great. Thank goodness for multiple dinning selections out side of the center, because the food court is dismal.

Nautica and Hilfiger had some good deals. Wish they would have had more in my size. Polo's best deals are on the stuff people don't want. I like the layout and it is always clean and the customer service is usually pretty good. It says outlet on the title but the enitre center does not have outlet prices. read more

Dealapalooza! I love Outlet Shops, and this mall has a great selection for shopping 'til you drop!

Great place to shop around. There is not much of a discount going on though. You can catch good sales which could discount you about 30%. Very clean and easy to get around. read more

I love tanger outlets, they give you so many different store options and lots of coupons, but some stores won't accept those coupons or have lots of restrictions on what you could use them on. I love that tanger members can get a free stroller rental from guest services, and their strollers have lots of space for your shopping bags. I have no kids and rented one just for our shopping bags. One suggestion for tanger is to add on a few strollers strictly for shopping bags, because dropping off bags in the car after each store is just inconvenient. read more

Pretty cool to come too. Drove down from NC for the day and enjoyed the drive. I was hoping for more stores though. They definitely need a better food court with a bigger selection . Parking can be a huge problem so get ready to walk. read more

There are two Tanger outlets in Myrtle Beach. Both have just about the same stores, although one has a Nike and a Timberland. Parking was easy and the walk areas are mostly open air covered. read more

I've been to the outlet twice now. It was ok at best. The stores there tend to carry seconds and things that didn't sell well at the main stores. I don't plan to go back. I didn't find anything either time I visited. read more

Had every outlet store I'd want to visit and definitely kept me busy all day. The only downfall is that you can't return the clothes to usual stores, so that could be difficult. read more

Good choice of shops along with decent outlet prices. The outlet center is outside, so choose your shopping time/day wisely so it isn't too hot or raining. The center has a food court that's comparable to other mall and outlet center food options. The parking lots can get congested at busier times, but that's expected at any shopping area, especially an outlet in a tourist town. read more

Decent outlets, but I've been to much better Tanger Outlet establishments. I left with one bag which is a novel thing for me. Would deff recommend you look up the directory to see if it's worth the trip. Nice setup however. read more

We were in Myrtle Beach on a shopping/golfing trip and had the best time! The mall is conveniently located and logically layed out. Not all of the stores are outlet stores, which was a little disappointing. We however felt very successful and saved a good bite. read more

Worst customer service of any J Crew I've been to, and I've been to many around the country. The staff barely acknowledged I was there and I had to go find them in the other side of the store to ask for a dressing room. read more

We always visit the Tanger Outlet in Seveirville, TN so I will base this review in comparison to it. We mainly go to the outlets for The Disney Store. Last week Disney was having their Twice Upon a Year sale and we hit the jackpot! Also, being a member ofTanger Club (highly recommend everyone signing up for this, it is a one time $10 fee but you get a free coupon book every trip and every year you get some type of gift card or coupon for at least $10 for your birthday!!) I got a $10 off $10.01 purchase at Under Armour. My family was picking at me saying I wouldn't be able to find anything cheap at the store (I am a diehard bargain shopper) well I went in with little expectations of finding anything, but they were having an amazing clearance sale with extra 40% off and I ended up getting a $45 sports bra for $2.14! I loved the layout of this Outlet Mall much better than Sevierville Store where you have to walk your legs off to see the entire Outlet stores... With the great deals we found, the layout being amazing and an overall awesome trip I am giving them 5 stars!! read more

This place is gorgeous!! Have been here numerous times and it's always worth my while. The sales are great and I always save money. It's just like any other tanger not much different. As a brand they have a rewards program which is okay. You get your money's worth but the rewards aren't that exciting. read more

Overall enjoyed my visit today. All of the stores I visited were well staffed & friendly. The only store that was a mess was Old Navy. Clothes were tossed everywhere. I immediately walked out. Best experience was in American Eagle. I shop at these outlets twice a year on vacation. I look forward to coming back again this fall. Great place to look for hot deals. Very convenient location and lots if variety in shops. Had a super knowledgeable staff at Asics shoe outlet that helped answer my questions and get me fitted into the proper shoe. Can't thank the nice young man enough. Got my Tanger Outlet membership card at Myrtle Beach this summer. Hubby and I both used $20 off coupons to save on Taylor Made golf clubs and apparel. Also used 20% off coupons at Bass Shoes. We went to this Tanger outlet mall to go to a couple of specific stores.The Harry&David store is always a favorite, and Bass, VF, and Van Heusen usually have wonderful sales this time of year. While the afternoon was enjoyable, I don't think the sales were as good this year as in past times.Even with the coupon booklets, the discounts weren't as impressive, and the amounts we'd have needed to spend to get the discounts was considerably higher. There were still some good buys to be found, but not like in past years. Most of the store spaces were filled, and as always, this mall is clean and well kept.We had a little trouble finding some of the stores we were looking for, but the information boards were helpful, so we eventually located what we were looking for.All in all, it was a pleasant enough way to spend an afternoon, and we did get to find a few bargains there. We winter here every year, we always go to Tanger. This year we don't buy anything. The prices weren't that good. Even with the coupons, you had to buy a certain amount to get a discount, some stores don't take them. W I went to get a specific item, I wanted shoes in a narrow width, not one of the shoe stores carried them. read more

So beautiful and such a great place to shop/spend time at. It's a very clean outdoor mall, it was probably cleaner than a few indoor malls I've been to! The stores are color coated and correspond with the map/brochure so it's so easy to navigate and direct. There are brochures to take along side quite a few of the walls through out the shopping area which I thought was kind! I'm an 19 year old working 8 hours a week, however, so the store choices weren't my favorite, but I am extremely picky when it comes to clothing and spending money. We have a place on Oak Island, NC but when we go we always make the 48 miles trip to Tanger. This is my favorite place to shop!

My boyfriend and I just walked in there(February 16 around 615) no employees were on the floor nobody was in the store but us about two minutes after roaming a guy walked out of the back room looked right at us no acknowledgement or anything. A minute or so after the guy walked out a female employee walked out once again no acknowledgement or anything. My boyfriend suggested we just leave and go to the mall and try the foot locker. I guess both employees were having a bad day. No need to bring it to their attention just go somewhere else. read more

Enjoyed my shopping experience at this Tanger location l. There was such courteous customer service at several stores.

Well put together - great for going during the rain as they have walkway shelters overhead. Great stores with great deals. Parking can become a situation though at peak times which is the only thing holding it from 5/5 stars. read more
