I was in town for one of my friends wedding and needed to get my hair done soooo bad! I went to yelp and typed in hair-braiding and so many different other things. But she came up and just by looking at her pictures I knew she would be good. I then called and she was very friendly I explained the craziness that was going on with my hair and she told me that she could do it and it would be no problem and that she could see me that evening. Since I was from out of town I had no idea where a hair shop was, so Aseelah meet with me and my friends and then showed us where the shop was and even helped me to make sure I got the proper hair and matched he color perfectly! We then went to her I home hair studio, which by the way was very clean and her family was so kind, friendly and respectful! In other times when I've had my hair in box braids some of them would fall due to be to them being too tight, but these were just right! Also, she gave me great suggestions on how to care for my braids properly. I now have them out, but when I get braids again I will be going to Aseelah again. Oh! Did I mention that I'm from Massachusetts and she is in New York?! So I will be traveling for such professionalism and good work!

I also brought my own hair to use which was not the same color as my natural hair but I purposely did that. I was talked into purchasing new hair that also did not match my hair color anyways so there was no point in me getting the new hair. There were three other braiders in the salon I don't know how good they braid. but I had a young girl who needs more practice.

Then you get home realizing they did not pack all of yr items. This is unacceptable. I will never shop here again. I called the store to explain that I did not get everything I paid for, the person was very dismissive. I should be a pleasant experience for any consumer spending their money for the things they want.
