Dr. Pfisterer had to do a significant visible cut on my face with stitches. Right now it is still healing but he put the cut in the crease of the cheek so, when it heals it will not be to visible. Dr. Pfisterer had great bed side manner at the surgery center during surgery prep. Dr. Pfisterer is a very young Surgeon, when I first saw him he looked to be recently out of school (high school), lol. I would go back to him for other care. I recommend his services.

He doesn't explain what he is about to do and just proceeds to 'jam' a scope down while my husband actively told him he was in pain and very uncomfortable. How we wound up here again and the same thing was about to happen again. This time my husband firmly said no to scope/probe as it was a failure last time. He essentially stayed quiet throughout the appointment unless my husband asked questions and then got blunt answers that made him feel like he was wasting the doctors time.

Finally went to see the Dr. He trying to show off for his assistant by acting all smart and knows everything. Didn't look at half my complaints, earache backpain. Instead completely misdiagnosed me and sent me to the ER for $2700 bill! Even ER Dr. Asked why I was there, had no symptoms of what Choua was talking about. Simple diagnosis by him that Choua should have easily caught. Even afterwards the lady at the desk couldn't communicate well with me, not returning calls, rude at one point. The Dr. Is a nice guy but nice don't always get it done. My earache ended up infection and my back has blown out discs. He ignored all of it. This is why I don't trust Dr. And the healthcare system is broken. Don't bother with this place. It costs more than it worth in the long run.

She practices integrated medicine and promotes healthy living and a balanced life. Now, I must be honest, I don't always take her advice. But she never makes me feel bad, she just smiles and ties again. Gently. The only reason I would not give her 4 stars is because she is always late. Always. I advise calling ahead to see how she is doing so that you don't have to wait so long. Because once you get in with her, you get the same attention that she gave to other folks, which caused her to be late. She is great. I really trust her.

BACKGROUND: This was my first visit to the doc. I have been seeing the same doc for 15 years, but she is 27 miles away and it is tedious to get there for basic things like a check up, etc. I finally decided to find another family doc. While I was visiting my daughter in the hospital recently, I asked the nurses about local doctors and Dr. Niufar's name came up repeatedly. They GUSHED about how fantastic he is, so I can now confirm that he is indeed a great doctor.

I like that all of the records are kept in the computer system, not on a piece of paper. Actually takes the time to talk to you and get to hear about your concerns, then gives proper advice. The only suggestion I have is that the medical assistants ask all relevant health information while in the exam room, not at the receptionist desk. I was asked on my first visit what meds I was taking while standing at the receptionist desk, and thought that was a bit odd - there wasn't anyone else in the waiting room, but had there been, I would have been uncomfortable with that. Very minor, but just saying, ya know...?! Elana, the medical assistant, rocks and is very personable! With the exception of Dr. Lieb and Dr. Niufar, good doctors in Antioch are hard to come by. I'll be back and highly recommend him to anyone seeking a primary care physician!!! A+++ to Dr. Niufar and his superior staff!

I have left my number with the receptionist, I left my number on the voicemail this morning (which she claims she never got) and if I didn't call back, she would have just done nothing. Since the other office hadn't called her back, she didn't have a fax number. I found it in a minute using Google. When are people going to accept accountability for their actions and maybe take a little initiative. With what we pay to see doctors, it would be helpful if their staff cared that they are dealing with actual people and not patient files! ******************************************************************************* Dr. Martin, from all the doctors I've had to see, seems to be genuine and sincere with her care for patients. I would recommend her (and only her). However, she's based out of Concord and is only in Vallejo on Fridays. The issue is her staff! Valerie, the new patient coordinator is extremely rude. I had to speak to a manager just to book the appointment. On 7/6/18, I called to ask for a referral to Sacramento. Anyone who knows Vallejo, knows it's a horrible city and being forced to go there and then sit in traffic back to the Fairfield (and the rest of Solano Co) is nothing short of a nightmare (esp. on a Friday)! I mean, I'm supposed to have a say in my doctor and my care, but Sutter refuses to allow that to happen; esp. in the city I live vs making me travel completely out of my way. Who needs to work? After all, my medical bills must be paid by the medical fairy...I digress.... I was told by the receptionist, someone would call me back. On Wednesday (7/11/18), after not hearing from anyone, I called again, at 12:15 to follow-up. The receptionist couldn't reach the referral coordinator. Told me she was probably on lunch, but she would call me back. I call back later, at 3:55 p.m., the receptionist tries the billing coordinator again. Apparently, she hasn't been in all day. I explained, very calmly, that waiting all this time to hear back, when communication is not only expected, but important, is completely unacceptable. Her response is they get busy. Great...it's been four days....still unacceptable. I was told I'd receive a call the next morning. Did I receive the call? NOPE! So, I call again. Same receptionist. She said she spoke with the referral coordinator at 8:45 that morning and let her know she needed to call me. I had to leave a voicemail for the referral coordinator, because the receptionist just put me there, without giving me the option of speaking to someone else. I decided I had enough...I called back to speak to Dr. Martin herself. Apparently, she's out of the office today and tomorrow. My take on this is the referral coordinator is dodging my calls because she forgot to speak with the doctor on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday...we won't mention the previous Friday as the other opportunity. So, here I am...stage 3...wanting to see a doctor, that doesn't require me to go to the ghetto and be associated with a sub-par facility like Sutter Solano, and I can't get one person from the office to return a call. Doctors are only as good as their staff and since the staff is barring access to said doctor, I've been left with no choice but to file a grievance with my insurance carrier (not holding my breath on that either), but at least it's on record.

When I was first diagnosed I was completely against chemotherapy because I was scared. She patiently explained that with a Stage III diagnosis it is medically necessary and that they are able to treat and prevent most side effects. With her help, I experienced mild side effects and was still fairly mobile. I did lose all my hair which was heartbreaking but she did tell me that would happen. I was able to email her with questions or concerns and she always got back to me even if it was a weekend or evening. My nurses were absolutely wonderful and made me feel as comfortable as possible during my treatment. The admin staff is also friendly and helpful. This facility desperately needs a bigger parking lot but besides that my rating says it all!
