New CDs are in the $10 to $15 range and the used CDs are in the $7 to $10 range. Vinyl is more expensive. (as I write this, the Swiss franc is only 3% higher than the US dollar...so the difference is less than sales tax in most US states)

Yes Fnac is the Swiss equivalent of Best Buy in the US and boy, it sure does a good job. Any time I've had to make a big technical purchase (Tv, Laptop.... batteries) I've always gone to Fnac. They are helpful, friendly and will get you the right product and not try to screw you over either. If you are a non french speaker, most of the staff also speak english... but come on, the only way to learn is to try ;)
