Akron isn't a cheap primping market, but if you have been putting off this bit of self care let me tell you that my first pedicure in over a year literally restored feeling to the toes on my left foot. The hot stone massage went a long way towards that, FYI :) I set out to have a great pedi and I most definitely found one here. This place is huge and clean. A testament to Rose Nails is how quickly the place fills up. I got here at five to ten (the sign said open and they took me) I was the only customer. The staff are extremely friendly and laid back so while you're in a really nice, clean salon/spa, you also don't feel judged or stuffy. As soon as we walked in we were taken upstairs to the pedicure stations. We were each given a glass of wine (came with the package) and we relaxed in the chairs with our feet in the hot spa foot tubs while we waited for our pedicurists (is that a word? lol) to get situated. It was fun talking with them while they worked on our feet and they also respected our personal conversations between just me and my friend as well. They did more than I've ever received during any other spa pedicure. They scrubbed our feet, filed them, clipped nails, foot mask, foot scrub, lotion and massage, and painted our nails. It was the fastest hour of my life because it was so relaxing! I seriously could have sat there all day. When we were finished, the ladies helped us move into the next room so we could let the paint dry on our nails. My toes look great! The paint was perfectly done. This experience was worth every penny and before our pedicures were over, my friend said she wanted to come back. I don't think we'll be going anywhere else for salon treatments. This is THE place!

The stylist attempted to fix her work after we explained that we were unsatisfied by reapplying more tint. She then tried to use concealer to shape the brows but this is what we left with. Uneven, horrible, embarrassing brows on my 15 year old daughter. Once we got home, we noticed there were streaks of dye on the side of her face where the tint was sloppily wiped away. We scrubbed her brows a ton with oil based cleanser and I tried my best to shape her brows to even out the areas of the tint that we couldn't get off. I will say, the stylist was apologetic, after she argued that she went with her "natural shape". How is that her natural shape? We had agreed to a shaping service but the stylist couldn't figure out how to ring it up on the service ticket so she said she'd do a light cleanup though tried to argue that point that with me and said she would do the shaping and asked me not to tell because she'd get in trouble. I'm giving the review 4 stars despite how unsatisfied I am with the service but only because the manager on shift was so friendly and apologized tenfold and gave us a refund for the service m. If it weren't for her professionalism and positive attitude, I'd be leaving a 1 star review for sure.

When I called it was verified I was charged twice for the cut & it should be back on my account . However when I checked the next day still no reimbursement. I was told it could take a few days to receive a refund. Not a great practice for customer support. Money had no problem charging my account but not reimbursement on their mistake. Makes me not want to go back even after the amazing hair style by Mia. She is great & I highly recommend her. It's a shame no accountability by front desk staff. Due to customer service practices I will not go back without cash.
