I had such high hopes for this place. Healthy food is "my thing" so I was super excited to learn…read morethat the new restaurant opening up down the block was going to be focused on fruit and hence healthy options. While they do serve some healthy juices (Vitaminas = smoothies) and omelettes, not only is it way over priced, but so much of the menu is focused on sandwiches or pastas, lame!
There is no excuse for expensive juice in Brazil unless you are importing exotic fruits, and they'd better not be frozen. Fruit here is cheap and delicious, and you don't even have to cook anything. I see this place as a necessary evil. The seats are more comfortable and the atmosphere more formal than my preferred juice spot, Madureiera.
After trying several less than exciting dishes (omelette, whole wheat pasta), I found a go-to dish in the salmon tartare atop green apple pieces. The açai is also tasty as are the Vitaminas but the price is ridiculous. Last summer they had a major mosquito problem so bring your Off spray.
