Rice was broken as if it were scraped from the bottom of a pot. Beans and house tortilla chips were unremarkable. However, the salsa, side salad, and toppings on the tacos were all fresh. Service and atmosphere both had room for improvement. The menu had labels over each price with a new (higher) price written in ink. The tables possessed a huge advertisement and wobbled, the seats were uncomfortable lacking padding and support. There was a claw and arcade machine in the dining area. After receiving the check, I had to walk up to the register to pay. None of these things were conducive for comfort.

They have some of their own sauces as well, I wasn't as much of a fan but my fiancé liked them. Felt they just have spice and not as much flavor, but their salsa was great. We all ordered burritos and the wet burritos were definitely worth it! I had the dry burrito and it was quite dry. I had ordered extra pico de gallo and I don't want to know how much would be in it if I didn't order extra. The chicken was delicious by itself but the rest of the burrito was really just lettuce and pico de gallo and sour cream. Again not bad but not much else. The rice on the side was pretty good though! Staff was very welcoming and kind! Very easy to find parking in their large lot surrounding the building.

Family restaurant atmosphere, that has a lot of moment so it can get somewhat loud. They have both tables for groups and tables for two people. The food is fresh and hot and comes out quickly. The portions are hefty. The meat overflows in your taco shell. One thing I like about this place is that there is a self-serve bar with all the condiments and you can pack them on your meal. I really like this concept. All the food comes out with sautéed onions and a grilled jalapeño - warning, the jalapeño is very spicy, you can take the seeds out, which doesn't make it as hot. We had an Horchata, which was huge, at least 32 ounces and can definitely be shared with two people. The Modelo beer was pretty expensive. The only downfall about the restaurant is it is directly on I-27. The outdoor seating is very noisy and dusty with all the traffic constantly driving by and you're always swatting away flies from your food. It's better to eat inside if you're dining in. Overall, the food is great and full of flavour and you get a hefty portion. The staff is pleasant and it's definitely somewhere I would recommend stopping by to eat if you're ever driving through Clewiston. Just don't eat outside.

The girl who helped us was super friendly. The food isn't bad; I'd say it's a step above typical chain food, but that's about it. The chimichanga is huge, well stuffed, and definitely big enough to share. My only critique is that they go a little heavy on the cumin. The birria tacos were the highlight -- nicely filled and very flavorful. The guacamole (one of my favorite dishes) was very good. Whenever I go to a Mexican restaurant, it's the first thing I order, and this time I didn't regret it. They also have the famous "Taco Tuesday" for $10, which is a great lunch option.

For…read moreadded context, I lived in Mexico for 15 years and accustomed to good Mexican food and so called Tex-Mex. This place looked so promising, and I guess I got my expectations too high. First the good. The place is brand new and spotless. The staff are very nice, and the windows were clean and the a/c worked great on a hot day. I ordered a chicken burrito and my wife ordered flautas. When ordering the burrito, I double confirmed to not make it so called "wet style", because sauce on flour tortillas is a big no no in Mexican cooking. Anyway, after waiting about 20 minutes for my order, I was shocked to get the gringo style wet burrito. Uggh, I didn't want to waste or wait another 20 minutes to get my correct order, so I decided to just live with it. That turned out to be a mistake. Upon biting into the wet mess, it was a disgustingly soggy blob of liquid tortilla and the meat was wrong, not what I ordered. It was hamburger meat, like Taco Bell style. It wasn't edible. I hated to waste it, but I had them remake it. No problem getting it remade to match my order, I know these things happen with new places, but sadly the remake burrito wasn't much better. I don't know where they get their tortillas from but those gotta go. The taste and texture were not good at all. To get the taste out, I took one of the "flautas" from my wife's order. Oddly, they used flour tortillas instead of corn and the filling was some kind of chicken with some mystery filler. This was also a disappointment. I'm not sure who designed the menu for this franchise chain, but it wasn't from a knowledgeable Mexican chef. For those used to "Florida style" Mexican food, this will be fine, but for those looking for something more authentic, other than the Jarritos sodas, this is sadly a hard pass.

Customer service: Staff is friendly and service is quick. Food: the food came out hot. The asada was seasoned well and tasted really well with the onions and cilantro as well as their homemade green salsa. The tortillas were different texture than what I'm used to, but they tasted fresh and good. The rice was amazing; different seasoning than in used to, but phenomenal! I was disappointed with the refried beans as they were a bit more watery than I like and lacked some flavor, but I ate them anyway. Price: I was a little disappointed that I had to pay $10 for this taco plate, which did not include a drink for those mighty $10. I understand that we're a long way from Mexico, but dayum...$10 should have included a drink at the very least as this plate anywhere else would be about $6-$8 without a drink. They really should rethink that, but at least the food was good. Overall: I had a good experience, they were super friendly, and the food tasted homemade and delicious.
