We arrived in Puebla just after lunch and were very hungry so decided to put our faith in our Moon guidebook and try this taqueria. Walking in right past the spit with the marinated meat roasting on it made me so hungry. I had two tacos arabe, one torta and a chorizo con queso. They were all pretty tasty. They were on par with the best tacos I had in Mexico City. I would have gone back but didn't have much time in Puebla and needed to try the other regional dishes. The staff just handed us a paper form to mark what we wanted and they promptly delivered it, which was great since my Spanish is still a work in progress.

These tacos were delightful, and although this place had a Mexican bar and grill vibe, a bit more coastal for my liking, I enjoyed it here tremendously, and even was in the mood for a beer with my food. I…read morewent to Puebla to visit my cousins and they brought me here for their tacos and licuados (smoothies). I thought nothing of it because the tacos are pretty much great anywhere and everywhere in Mexico, but I was immediately impressed. The tacos here are great! I especially like the al pastor ones, but what really makes them extra tasty are their salsas! They have four, but their green avocado one will take your tacos to the next level! What really makes me love this place and is the big reason for the 5 stars are their licuados! They.Are.Amazing! Especially their licuado de mamey!! Mamey is this incredible fruit that is just perfect for a smoothie because it's so creamy. The US unfortunately doesn't have this fruit, so I make sure to make a stop here whenever I'm in Puebla visiting. It's just THAT good. Haha I cannot recommend this smoothie enough to all of you! Note: their large is really large. More than enough for 2 people to enjoy :)
