They've been a fixture in this area ever since I entered college, way back when they were still located at Torre Lorenzo at Taft Ave. Currently they're located above Mini Stop beside SDA Building, which is a far better location than their previous one that was in the basement. So... I've printed EVERYTHING here back when I was in college. Well, mostly everything. I only head to other printers when their store gets packed during finals. They're fast, reliable, and the quality of their printing has never failed me, especially the colour quality. Post-college, they're still my first choice for printing services for my client work. That is, if I actually have time to head all the way to Manila. Aside from the usual prints, I really love their mounted prints. i actually don't know of any printers who provide these. Dexact will print a single copy of a magazine (as they did so for my sister for her school project), 50 copies of business cards, five copies of a poster...you get the drift. Quality wise, they win over the regular print shops, hands down. Their digital prints are highly color accurate, and they can do added effects that only the printing presses usually deliver like precision die-cutting, mounting, binding, etc. You can also choose from various specialty papers, so no need to be confined to just bond paper. Don't make the mistake of going there during Finals Week of Benilde's School of Design and Arts students, though. The place will be PACKED! Space is limited in the stop, and the printing queue can get frustrating, especially if you need a rush job. Best to call ahead to see how busy they are. Drop off your project. Their prices are really cheap considering the quality of paper and ink you're getting. I printed a page full of color ink at P25, and while that may sound like a rip-off, they provide glossy paper unlike most computer shops that would print it on regular short bond paper. When you enter the employees will probably be blasting out some Hillsong tunes, and they're really chill people. You get your files printed literally in minutes, and if you're printing in bulk, such as in tickets or souvenirs for a play, they do the cutting for you.

He aksed me what I was looking for and I responded. He then told me to follow him. At his point, it felt a bit sketchy but I had never been to this place so I just toughened up. We went to this place behind Gilmore, there was a hallway that led to a room that hap about six or seven stalls. DBM was one of them. There was a team ready to assist me. I asked for a battery and a charger for my laptop. I gave them the model and they had someone get it. While we were waiting for the battery and charger, I asked them how much it was going to cost me. Having a bit of Chinese running in my veins, I haggled. I asked them if I could get a discount and they really did give me a discount, a big one. When they learned I could speak bisaya, they gave me an additional discount. I was just so happy. They were very friendly too and even joked around with me. When the guy came back, I got my new charger and battery. I paid a very discounted amount and I was on my way. But before I left, I thanked all of them for being very friendly and accommodating. I would run to Copylandia to have it photocopied. When my thesis partner and I had to make hundreds of copies of our survey, we would run here again. And when I needed to make several copies of sequence guides, shot lists and scripts, I'd come here. Just know that there will be times when the place is full of people all waiting for their photocopies. If you don't need it right away, they sometimes allow you to leave it overnight or leave it with them in the morning and come back in the afternoon. This new rule was announced quite on the last minute back in 2013, and it was a gigantic headache. I've hopped from one printer to the other, looking for a place that will accommodate the production of my new receipts, and luckily, in true saintly fashion, St. Girard Printers was willing to take in my project. I was so glad I ended up at this place because they even took care of acquiring some of the permits that were needed from the BIR. So convenient! Even if my receipts cost a lot more than it usually would (like, Php 500/booklet-times 10. Ouch), at least it was very convenient. Having less to do with the BIR is GOOD. I've referred them to my other clients for printing needs, and their output has been good. Although, their turnaround time isn't too fast and sometimes it takes them a while to provide you a quotation. They do deliver against a small fee, but since they are just in my neighbourhood I email my files to them and when I pick them up I don't need to wait anymore. If you are a regular they are very flexible. You can ask them to print things quicker, cheaper and they are flexible with when you pay. Any requests they will try to accommodate and always with a smile. Just call or email them first, because the smell inside the printing shop can make you dizzy so you want to spend at little time as possible there.

They may not be the shop that offers the cheapest rate for these services in the Taft Avenue and Vito Cruz areas, but the quality of their finished product makes all the difference. Their "powder xerox" (at Php .60 per page) is of already of print quality (there's none of the usual grey and black smudges on the paper). What's more, they use good quality (read: thick) paper, not those flimsy coupon bonds used by other photocopiers. When you're on a budget and need multiple copies of a document that have to look like the original, just have them print one set and photocopy the rest. It's cheaper that way, and the difference in quality is not that noticeable. Black and white printing would cost you Php 2 per page, more than the usual "piso print", but again, quality spells the difference. Colored printing starts at Php 5, cheaper than in other shops. Aside from printing and photocopying services, the Estrada Branch also offers ID picture-taking and printing, colored photocopying, and poster printing. The shop also doubles as an Internet cafe.
