Amazing venue!! Definitely a full venue with 39,000 seats sold out this night for the Savannah bananas!!! So glad parking was easy with the ABC ramps nearby. Love that we can reserve ahead of time. So much construction when we went which made it a nightmare to get to. Getting out is a nightmare too but if you have time try to wait it out and go to some bars nearby. Drinks and food were pricey, an alcoholic drink will run you more than $20. A small hot dog is $7. A bigger one is $10. Try to go out to eat before or after event. read more

A NORTHERN PASTIME The Minnesota Twins' home ballpark is a great venue to watch a game. I took my family on vacation to Minneapolis in early June, and in doing so I was able to check off Target Field from my list of MLB stadiums (7th in the AL, 12th overall).  Tickets on a weekday afternoon to see the Twins play the Chicago White Sox were pretty cheap, far less than what I expected. Security was friendly and we got our stroller + stuff in easily.  We sat in section 133, an area in right-center field that always has shade thanks to a large upper deck directly above it.  In front of us were some planted flowers, props to the Twins landscaping crew for keeping things green and colorful. In several spots at Target Field, you can find grab-and-go kiosks stocked with a number of classic ballpark snacks at reduced prices: $4 hot dogs, $3 peanuts, $3 popcorn, $4 pretzel w/cheese, and $5 cans of light beer. These no-frills offerings were PERFECT for me and the fam, plus it saved us a bunch of money. When we stopped at guest services to get a "my 1st Twins game" certificate for the kids, the guy behind the window tossed a couple of dog-eared papers our way and said nothing.  No midwestern warmth for visiting fans as my Sox proceeded to paddle the Twinkies 8-0. Once the game ended, we hit a massive traffic logjam trying to leave the top deck of the parking garage.  Since there was only 1 way out--the bottom floor--we had no choice but to wait for all the lower levels to clear in turn.  A full hour and a half later, I was able to drive everyone (now fast asleep) back to the hotel.  Ooof. When a Twins player hits a home run, a large neon sign in center field features "Minnie and Paul" shaking hands, a nod to Minnesota's former minor league teams the Minneapolis Millers and the St Paul Saints.  This sign also flashes 'Twins Win' anytime the home team secures a victory. * TL;DR * Target Field is one of the nicest stadiums I've experienced in the big leagues--Truist Park (Atlanta) and Nationals Park (D.C.) also fit this mold. Being able to get ballpark snacks for cheap was absolutely clutch, as my kids weren't interested in a $12 Kramarczuk's sausage and I was thankful to not shell out $14/beer.  We dug the open-air vibes of the right field concourse and overall facilities were nice. I still gotta dock a star because leaving the game was absolutely brutal.  No stadium is perfect and exiting traffic can often be a hassle, but 90 minutes of not moving isn't fun for anyone.  A different parking scenario for us and it's a 5* experience for sure. If you find yourself in the Twin Cities between April and October, check the Twins schedule and try to catch a game here. read more

A big fan of Niko Niko joining the stands - the day I went though they were closed. There were barely any lines the day I went but the staff was still strict about where to enter to purchase. Total waste of time when there is 0 line. I noticed some of the stands sell the same thing but I don't like that the same item sold elsewhere is a different price. One place could have water for $5 another for $3, same bottle. But I guess it's better to have a stand $3 than to have them all be $5. There is no way to see how much balance is left on your ticket, only after making a purchase and having the receipt. Seats are hard to stay in when the sun is beaming. The covered seats are definitely easier to endure. read more

It's a very nice ball park. The food situation was very disappointing to me. It was sausages here, hot dogs over there, bratwurst here. They had one sad-looking street taco cart. Disappointed at the lack of food options compared to say, Oracle Park or Dodgers Stadium. But I loved how easy it was to get in and out of the park. read more

I'll go ahead and put this in the top five of ballparks I've visited. Indeed a surprise, but the whole experience just felt "right". The stadium is very nicely designed, incorporated into the existing city infrastructure, and the exposed limestone walls in the outfield are a pleasant touch. The concourse is nice to walk around, and there are lots of food options. The views are nice. I know Minneapolis is a bit out of the way for most, generally a 'special trip' but I can recommend Target Field for baseball connoisseurs. (26/30 visited) read more

Target Field is absolutely my favorite MLB ballpark. We attended a Friday night game with more than 26,000 fans in attendance, and the atmosphere was fantastic from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights was Friday Happy Hour before first pitch. For just $2, you can get hot dogs, beer, popcorn, soda, and water, making it one of the best ballpark deals I've come across. Regular concession prices are on the expensive side, but the food quality is solid. If you're looking to save a little more, you're also allowed to bring in a sealed bottle of water and your own snacks. The stadium itself is beautifully designed and blends into the surrounding city, with the exposed limestone wall in the outfield giving it a unique character. The open concourse is one of my favorite features since you can keep watching the game while walking around, and there are plenty of food and drink options, including many local vendors. The views of the Minneapolis skyline are outstanding, and the stadium is incredibly easy to reach whether you're driving, taking public transportation, or walking. I especially appreciated the convenient parking ramps with direct highway access. After the game, we were treated to a fireworks show, which was a great way to cap off an already memorable evening. Whether you're a Twins fan or simply a baseball enthusiast, Target Field is well worth the trip. I'm a pretty big fan of the Minnesota Twins and I haven't been to a Twins game since they opened the stadium. I'm only familiar with the Metrodome. The only thing I live in happy with at the Metrodome that would be incorporated here would be the dome portion of the stadium since it rained the majority of the time. Other than that I had a really great time at the game. What's great about the game is the public transit to get you to the game. The rail system takes you within 100 ft of the front gate. Public transit is easy to get around as well. Security is a breeze to get through as well. They have great happy hour specials and I do think that the fans here are really nice and friendly. I'm surprised that nobody really checks your tickets or your seats to make sure you're in the right section unless you're somewhere near home plate. I enjoyed all the various fan interactions that they have throughout the entire game to make each game feel more and more inclusive for everyone. Drink prices as well as the food are through the roof. I guess that's why everyone takes advantage after two dollar hot dogs and drink specials before the game every Thursday and friday. I did get to see the Twins win thankfully but I will read my experience in all honesty a four-star experience! read more

My wife and I attended a Sunday afternoon game against the St. Louis Cardinals. I've been to all current 30 MLB Ballparks and without a doubt this is in the top 10. Ballpark is in a great location and everyone is extremely friendly. We were staying nearby and walked to the game. Based on the prices, seat locations, and any other variables this is a 5 star venue. As a metropolitan sports arena I find Target Field one of the best ones. Plus you can't beat seeing the Minneapolis skyline. Its easy to get to regardless of if you are walking, driving, or taking public transportation. While the lines can get long, I think being able to go directly from the highway to a parking ramp is really nice. Regardless of what you may think of the Twins as a franchise. I appreciate I can get a ticket for $20. But I do think it's interesting that I can get a level 300 seat for $20 or a standing room only ticket for $25-30. Food is overpriced, but it does seem like decent quality food. I prefer the "Happy Hour" deal of $2 hotdogs, beer, popcorn, soda, and water. It really can't be beat. I highly recommend bringing in your own sealed water bottle, and your own snacks and saving yourself a few dollars. While I do love when they offer post game concerns/shows, the night gets a little long when the game starts at 7 and it takes over 30 minutes for them to set up the stage. Acoustics are terrible on the upper levels and you have to go to the level 100 seats to be able to hear any of the performance on the field. read more

Went here for the Banana Ball world tour on day 3 (Sunday). Getting to the stadium seems nice and close to the hwy. Entry into the stadium was quick and painless. The bathrooms were very clean and the people were also friendly. The prices though as you can imagine for concessions is astronomical. There has to be a way to lower the prices so all people attending can afford a water or even a soda. I am not counting this as part of my review because I knew it was going to be expensive for concessions but wowza! read more

Always such a great stadium experience! I love how the concourse is open so you can see the game from any vantage point. Their commitment to bringing in local food and drink vendors and smaller businesses is so appreciated. We went recently for a Friday game, and were jazzed to hear that they're doing heavily discounted hot dogs and beers before the game starts! I wish they had a safer and better way for folks to get Ubers - it's frustrating that the few times we've called rideshare after a game that the drivers don't know where to pick up, and it says to pick up further from the venue. They really need a row where it is only rideshare pickup. Target Field is a great spot overall - super fun to see the other areas during Food & Wine Experience this winter too! read more

Recently went to a Twins game at Target field on a Saturday afternoon. Got there at gate open to take advantage of the $2 happy hour beers. They have water stations to refill your water bottles and you are able to bring in your own food! They have plenty of places to grab a bite to eat and I especially liked the value stand to get some cheap snacks. Not a bad view in the stadium. I visited Target Field for a Saturday afternoon game (Twins vs. Blue Jays) in early June 2025. This is a relatively new ballpark (opened in 2010) and was clean and easy to navigate. It's right in downtown Minneapolis, so it was only a 20 minute walk from the Hilton hotel near the Convention Center. Lots of pluses at this ballpark. First, I enjoyed the view of the downtown Minneapolis skyline (from high up in Section 221 Row 7). Only a few sections have this view, so be sure to do some research online before purchasing your seats if you're visiting from out of town. Second, Minnesotans are so nice! Third, I enjoyed a $15 banh mi from the Union Hmong Kitchen stand near the Gate 6 ballpark entrance (near the rail station). Loved the spicy "ballpark" banh mi with a sausage, carrots, cilantro, and peppers. Would definitely return to Target Field in the future! read more

Target Field is one of the best outdoor venues I've been to. I know it's the field of the Minnesota Twins, but my experience there was for a concert. The seats were actually pretty wide and comfortable in terms of the stadium seating I've experienced. There isn't really a bad seat in the whole place because they all slope down to where the field/stage is at, with no real "obstructed view" seats that I saw (for our show at least). I was surprised that in an outdoor show, the sound was actually pretty clear and well mixed. The food and drinks are just basic food and drinks you'd see at any sports game or concert and just as expensive - but that's to be expected. Small bags are allowed in, but have to be single compartment and under a certain size. Definitely check the bag policy for the venue but also your show/game, because they can have different policies for different events too. If you're coming in from anywhere around the city, take the Light Rail to the Target Field station, and it will drop you right at the ballpark/venue. They even add some cars to the Light Rail when there are bigger shows or games. If you see a performer or game that interests you at Target Field, it's a pretty neat outdoor venue so I recommend checking it out! read more

Great stadium with easily accessible green areas, good team stores, and some affordable food and drink options. The kid meals in particular were awesome (with hot dog, ships and a drink for not much more than a single plain hot dog). They did not require clear bags for entry, which I appreciated. Not as many standing areas as other stadiums we have been to nor is the kids area as robust. We did like the wide concourses that made it easy to get around and the abundant bathrooms. Stadium 24/30. I really liked Target Field! It's one of the newer ballparks in baseball, and has some cool downtown views. I took the trolley down here from the VA Hospital stop and it only took about 20 minutes. It drops you off right outside the gates..no walking needed. Would highly recommend taking the trolley to/from the game. Seats were nice! I got a ticket behind home plate, 30 rows up for less than $28.00. Score! Had the whole row to myself, too. Great view! I loved the statues they had outside the stadium, too. I got some pictures of Kirby Puckett for my brother in law (he loved Kirby Puckett). I have a colleague that lives in Minnesota and he told me that if I came here, I had to go upstairs and see the Organ Lady, Sue Nelson! I made it up her way and you can actually go into her room and watch her play. She was incredibly nice. I told her that I was from AZ, and she let me know that only her and the AZ organ player are accessible to the public. All the other 28 teams organists are behind closed doors, usually in the press box. Pretty cool fact, right there! Talked to her for a few minutes, and watched the rest of the game and then left. Minnesota folks are incredibly nice. Some of the nicest folks I have ever met in my life. Outside the stadium, they had bucket drummers set up, and one guy asked me if I would like to contribute to their "fund", and I said no. A lot of folks would be like "Come on man, help me out blah blah". Not this guy, he said "That's ok sir, hope you have a good rest of your evening and a good weekend!" I also got talking to a pedicab driver outside the stadium. He was super nice too! Wish all folks could be "Minnesota Nice" lol. Had a great time at the stadium and the Twins won! I love going to ballgames. I go to about 3-5 games a month and enjoy the atmosphere, the crowd, and the entertainment (outside of the game itself). The food and drink options are pretty good for a stadium but my favorites are the cheese curds, pretzel, crispy chickpeas, and brats. The ice cream is trash (chocolate flavored frozen water basically) and really wish they'd step up their soft serve! read more

One of the nicer stadiums I've visited! It was my first time in the Twin Cities and a baseball game was definitely on the agenda. Glad that the team was at home and we got to check them out. The stadium is right next to the T-wolves arena so you're actually walking through the building to get to the baseball field. In the heart of downtown, it wasn't too crazy when we were there, especially because I was with smart people who reserved parking for us! We didn't get to our seats until the 5th inning because we were exploring everywhere. We stopped at every level to check out the views and I happened to know a friend who was also at the same game so we stopped by their seats first and hung out there for a bit. But we did a lot of walking around, mostly looking for good food. They have a good selection depending on what you're in the mood for! read more

POST GAME CONCERT REVIEW: I saw Nelly on 7/11/25! The show started about 30 minutes after the end of the game. Beers were sold for that long too. I sat in section 103. His stage was set up basically on 2nd base. Personally for viewing sake, I would have preferred they set up concerts a little farther back in mid-field, but they may have been avoiding people standing on the grass, as they did allow people on the field. I am not sure if you prebuy those spots on the field. It seemed they may have been giving wristbands to people in line to get out there, so it may have been first come first serve? Unsure! Anyways, our seats in 103 row 8 had a fine (side) view of the show and a great view of the projector! Sound was great! He played much longer than I expected - easily an hour plus! My suggestion for seats for a post game concert is anything lower level behind/between 1st base, home plate or 3rd! Definitely nothing in outfield, and prioritize lower level if you can, worth the price! Bravo to the Twins staff, and to Nelly! read more

If you are in Minneapolis in the summer, you have to visit Target Field. It's a nice stadium and if you sit by the Doug out you have that nice view of the city. The food for a stadium was better than expected. The cheese curds were crispy and tasty. The burger came with the fries; price was good and surprisingly good. They have deals throughout the week so take advantage of those. I would definitely come back to another game. read more

[Out-of-Towner Review] Boring stadium and mostly boring game. And I don't say this as a loyal, born and raise SF Giants fan. The stadium is nice, clean, and newish. But it stops there or maybe I didn't know what to go look for. It has the basics, food and shops, but beyond that it was generally boring. I will say, I did my homework on their food and their MLB food influencer event made it easy to see what was new and what I should order. Kramarczuk's bratt sampler sampler loooked so cute and IG worthy, but it was too much food and also $40. I went with the Cheddar Sausage and it was delicious. So much, I contemplated getting another one. And to my ABSOLUTE AMAZEMENT, they carry Wild Cherry Pepsi on tap. This is my literal dream come true. My favorite soda is VERY hard to find on tap. They have mini, grab-n-go markets where you can get a souvenir cup for fountain drinks. There is only one drink cup option, unfortunately. It's a LOT of soda. We sat in section 115, row 13 and they were very reasonable seats I will say, I didn't enjoy the lit up 'Win! Twins!' sign. I was also intrigued by the bullpen layout, which both teams seem to share. We walked the entire ballpark and checked out each level. Again, nothing too exciting. Also, if you use the MiLB app, be sure to snag the 10% off coupon in the app. I didn't notice it until after I got my souvenir. Lesson learned. Happened to be in town when my hometown Royals were here, so I made my way over for the game. In a word? JEALOUS. KC has a great stadium (Kauffman Stadium) but it's kind of in the middle of nowhere. Being able to walk here (which I did), or rent a bike to ride back (which I also did), was great. Also their commuter train goes right out front which is incredible. The stadium is great, with lots of local vendors scattered throughout. I did find it a bit tight at times and hard to find how to go up to my cheap seat, but managed just fine. And like most things here, the Minnesota nice is real. No one gave me a hard time for my Royals gear or cheers, and it felt nice to take everything in. Baseball is meant to be played downtown and I love what this brings to downtown Minneapolis. read more

Great ball park! This is my 9th ballpark and one of the better ones. I attended two games while in town. Entry and exit is easy. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Both games had good views, behind home and in center field. Even the top deck didn't seem like it would be bad. The location downtown was easy to access and seemed safe. read more
