We were in town and decided to surprise our son with a stadium tour and it far exceeded our expectations. Our guide was very cool. Can't think of his name but he was knowledgeable and friendly and answered all of our questions. They take you to every corner of the stadium and even the locker room and fancy suites. But the highlight of the tour was getting to play on the field. Our guide rolled out some footballs and gave us 20 min to take pictures and toss the ball around. Man that was a dream come true to come throw touchdowns to my son in his favorite teams stadium. One of the coolest experiences ever. 10/10 would recommend. read more

I went to US Bank Stadium for a graduation ceremony that went from around 5PM - 7:45PM. The stadium is fine but I'm giving two stars because the seats are incredibly uncomfortable. Like unbelievable. Home of the Minnesota Vikings, the US Bank Stadium was close enough to our downtown hotel, to be worth making an effort to view outside, even though there was no game and we couldn't go inside. The view from the outside on a sunny day is great, with all the reflective glass and metal all over the stadium. It was built in 2016, replacing the Metrodome (which I did go to for Bears-Vikings games when we lived in Madison). We did get to admire/see the Medtronic Plaza. The stadium does host tours with a reservation, so will try that next time. read more

Came here for the Vikings vs. Eagles game and was impressed with the stadium! It's so nice for an enclosed stadium, I loved the glass ceilings that let in all the sunlight! Every seat has a great view. It was pretty easy to get into, exiting was pretty rough though. It's convenient to get to as it's located super close to the light rail stop, as well as a park called The Commons where they had pre-game festivities. I was pleasantly surprised to see a jazz band playing on the 2nd floor as we were going up the escalator to our seats. I liked seeing on the big screen "Viking Fan Code of Conduct: Don't be a Jerk". Haha. Luckily everyone I came across was super friendly and nice. I was having difficulty with pulling up my ticket on the app and was kind of stressing out, and the lady at the front was super nice and helpful and made sure I was taken care of. I guess it's the MN way. Food and drink are crazy expensive as in all stadiums, but the portions here are super small. I went and bought a jerk chicken taco from Soul Bowl. Turns out it was a tiny rice bowl. No tortilla, not a taco. Is this a Midwest thing? Cuz that confused the heck out of this SoCal girl. It was yummy though! I also enjoyed the fried cheese curds from Curds & Cakes, haven't had those in a while. Even though the Vikings didn't win this game, I had a great time. I've been here a few times now. Almost always for concerts. From the outside it's a beautiful stadium. Good for concerts? I think not. 2 big concerts I've seen here, Beyoncé & Jay Z (years ago) and Kendrick Lamar & Sza this year. The sound was horrible at both shows. If you didn't know the songs you'd hardly know what they are saying. It's like a car blasting music to the point you just hear bass. The seats are also very cramped and a bit uncomfortable. The equipment for the sound (speakers) and lights obstructs the views for many people which sucks because even nose bleeds can be $300+ for tickets. It's generally expensive to get tickets for any event here, especially Viking games. The concessions are very spendy as well. $20+ for drinks + tips. When events happen here parking almost anywhere downtown is $25-50. Even meters charge event rates. Fun to experience the events but worth it? Debatable. For sure puts a hole in your pocket. read more

Okay, maybe you won't much care about my perspective because I've only been here once and it was for a concert, but I don't think this is a good place for a loud, popular rock concert. Getting into this stadium was a longer ordeal than going through security at MSP. Everyone with our type of seats (the floor sections) had to follow a single long path to the one entrance that would admit us. Exiting was no easier; I'm shocked at how few exits there are. It would be terrifying to be stuck in this stadium during a fire. The sound is subpar; the louder songs were quite muddy for the Paul McCartney show. In my experience, it's not likely you'll get much better sound in a large, enclosed venue like this when the music is so loud, so bear that in mind. Also, the chairs that are set out for the main floor are flimsy, small, and uncomfortable. There are varied food options; I can only comment on the one I chose for this visit. I don't remember which counter it was, but they had a very small menu with some Asian options. I got a thing with two large slabs of chicken, a little mound of fried rice, and a dipping sauce with a name that promised more excitement than it delivered. With a lemonade, it was close to forty bucks. It does look like the experience for Vikings games is much more enjoyable, especially during the day when you can appreciate the big windows and the loud crowds and the make-it-snow-inside effect. But if I'm ever coming to any big event here again, I am going to eat somewhere else first and I'm going to absolutely dread entering and exiting the building. read more

We had a great time at the Vikings preseason game! I highly recommend taking kids to a preseason game as it is a much cheaper option than a regular season game. We arrived about 2 hours early so we could enjoy the activities that were going on outside the stadium first. They had lots of photo opportunities and free Johnny pops which was a big hit with both the kids and adults! Once inside the air conditioning felt so good and the kids were in awe of everything going on around them. We easily found our seats and even though we were in the upper level our view was great! Food is pricey so I recommend bring a refillable water bottle for water (they have lots of drinking fountains with water bottle fills) and eating beforehand. We did not win the game but we enjoyed walking the different levels and taking in all the stadium had to offer! Pro tip: visit customer service for free buttons (celebration, happy birthday and my first Vikings game), ear plugs and paper hats! read more

I have a running bucket list visit all NFL stadiums. Came here to see the Vikings vs the Eagles. Where we stayed we were able to walk down to the stadium. Before coming here Dallas was my favorite staduim, BUT this one was amazing. Such a great staduim. Alot of energy, clean bathrooms. Good food options and like all stadiums great expensive drinks. The layout is nice. Not a bad seat in there, and we had great seats. To date, my favorite staduim. There were a lot of events going on outside of the stadium as well. Just loved the vibe! First time EVER at the US bank stadium and won't be the last. My fiance and I got to enjoy Kendrick and SZA concert on the floor and it was spectacular! One thing I was very upset about was the security guard outside being rude and uninformed about what door was hosting what tickets. We were directed to multiple people and were sent to multiple places before we were able to unwind and relax. This made the beginning of our journey stressful. Though it was, the production of the show was amazing. Just didn't enjoy the employees outside and inside scanning tickets. I missed out on some merch and other things. We were able to see all levels of the stadium and were told the significance of different locations within it. Came here for the Vikings game on 11/09 and this was my first time there! Honestly, in terms of flow, it is fairly smooth and easy. There were a lot of people trying to get in at the same time since the game started at 12 and we got there at 11am and came right off of the train. They are well organized with security and people get thru in a timely manner. The flow of the actual stadium is pretty smooth too, no complaints on that front. The bathrooms are well placed and also have a lot of stalls and I was fortunate where I happened upon clean stalls everytime, I know not everyone is that lucky lol. I did not get any food but I did get a bunch of drinks and that was also smooth - not a super long wait time. Getting out was also easy, again, the flow was smooth and no real bottlenecks. It is not the best venue when it comes to concert sound quality, but everything else was very well run from check-in to check-out. The space is huge with plenty of room to hang out, and there are lots of restrooms which is always a plus. The seats are spacious and comfortable, and being right in the heart of the city makes it super convenient. Overall, I really appreciate the experience. Even though I'm not from Minnesota, I'm a huge Vikings fan. I grew up a fan of Randy Moss growing up and I love the team. For Christmas, my wife bought us tickets to see the Vikings play their rival Packers. First of all, the stadium is huge. It's phenomenal. We had great seats and views of the game. Secondly, the energy from the crowd was amazing. We joined in on the Skol clap and were screaming at the top of our lungs the whole game. Third, it's always more fun when the Vikings win and of course, they did. It was a great way to start the Sunday for us as we were visiting. Fourth, I'm a big fan of Prince and I love how much of Prince's music was played throughout the game and throughout the city. When I came home, I put the Purple Rain album on repeat. The songs played during my time there were nostalgic for me. Definitely the highlight of our trip to Minneapolis. Just an amazing experience altogether that I will never forget. We took the US Bank Stadium tour on a Saturday when middle school football teams were playing! Very fun to watch. Wow, this place is fantastic! have to say that I think I'm Vikings fan now! The tour revealed the vast variety of seating options. The club level offers seating with couches so you feel like you're watching the game from your living room. The corporate club boxes were very posh and the corporate cabin spaces were even better with fantastic seating and views of the field. My favorite part was the Delta private seating where you can actually be on the field standing behind the team. What stadium is set up for fans to view the game and the players from that perspective? Wow, super cool! There's also fantastic artwork throughout the entire stadium. Not to mention the natural lighting, and the acoustics. Every detail was thought out. Hats off to the architects, and design team that planned this brilliant stadium. My favorite part of the entire experience was seeing the "Honor the Game" wall where every high school in Minnesota is represented by displaying their helmet. The current year's state champions for all the classifications are on a special wall, giving tribute to them for winning state. Their place is held on the wall with the other helmets by a gold helmet commemorating that they are state champs for the year. I love that they took the time to honor all the schools, coaches, parents and athletes that make the great game of football, America's favorite sport. Hats off again for honoring the youth and the future fans of theNFL Very classy! I can't wait to come to a game here! read more

I'm going to start out with some pre-existing dislike of seeing concerts at US Bank Stadium. I was very hesitant when the show was furst but onsale as other concerts I've experienced at US Bank Stadium have been very disappointing from a sound perspective. I've seen Sir Paul at other venues and he was, well, great. Given my past experience at US Bank Stadium I wasn't willing to spend the $$$$ on tickets. At the last minute I purchased tickets heavly discounted tickets for Sir Paul McCartney Got Back tour.Clearly the stadium has taken audio clarity/quality seriously, or Sir Paul required it, but this time the stadium sound was much better than expected. Not only is this one of the best football stadiums but not so much for concerts. This has been corrected. We had lower level tickets in row 4, the sound was very good. Sir Paul was, as expected, exceptional and an icon of music history. read more

They move people quite well. Vending was a bit limited. I would have liked healthier, friends would have liked more hot dogs. But not a lot of lines. Seats and air temperature was nice. Took my grandson to a 2025 preseason game (Vikings & Patriots ). First time at this stadium & Minneapolis, MN. Stay downtown because you can walk to the stadium with everyone. I used Uber to save myself some hip pain. We did walk from the stadium to our hotel. Make sure you grab your "1st time" pin from guest services. This place is awesome! I love the natural lighting that comes through the glass dome. The temperature is perfect. We had seats in the very last row, 18. Section 205. The seats are not comfortable. They could use some cushion. I have osteoarthritis in my hips so I had to stand frequently. As far as the view, I don't think it's a bad seat in the place. Do not bring any fanny packs or bags, unless they are clear & real small. They have a measuring stick & they will not let you in. If you decide anyway, there is a truck collecting item for $10 an item. The Mobile Locker Company, but this particular truck didn't have individual lockers. They are hung inside with a number, that's it. A little scary. Food- great selections but expensive. We choose the fried chicken strips & fries $18.99. I was supposed to have wings (bone-in). Young kids are working & they know nothing about the items on the menu. read more

I've only ever been to U.S. Bank Stadium for the SZA + Kendrick Lamar concert on April 2025. I was largely disappointed at how unorganized the venue was with entrance and exit. ---ENTRANCE--- For starters, CHECK THE BAG POLICY before the event. They are very serious about their bag policy. Some of the smaller venues in the Twin Cities are lenient about bag size policy BUT THE US BANK STADIUM IS NOT! They have pieces of paper printed out to measure if your bag is smaller than the square that's printed on it. I've literally seen the trash bin at the security line full of purses because at that point, people have stood in line for 15-30 minutes. They told me that there was a bag check at the entrance of the opposite side of the stadium, so I walked all the way to that side. I asked the venue staff if I was about to go into the bag check line, and I was told yes. So I stood in line for another ~15 minutes to be told that it was not in fact the bag check line. I was pointed towards the truck that's parked across the street that were storing peoples' purses. At that point, I was frustrated because the staff had not been clear about which line was the bag check line. I had to wait another 15-20 minutes to get my bag stored into the trunk of a car because the truck had ran out of lockers to store purses in. We were given tags to identify our belongings. And the "bag check" service isn't even affiliated with the stadium! I admit, trying to by-pass the stadium's bag policy was stupid on my end but I was frustrated at how the stadium staff don't know how to properly communicate where to find the bag check. Additionally, it took about 30 minutes to retrieve my bag at the end of the show. ---EXIT--- It took me 20-30 minutes to walk out of the venue after the concert has concluded. The venue does not have a way of directing traffic, so crowds headed into opposing direction was the cause for the slow movement of traffic. I was anxious about how it would have been handled if there was an emergency. I took the light rail and a bus home after the crowds have died down, but I've heard from others that drove to the venue have stayed in their cars for 30 minutes to an hour trying to leave the venue parking lot. read more

I've been to this stadium a couple times for Vikings/Colts games and it's a really nice stadium! Their food options are pretty good. I don't have experience with parking as I've always taken an Uber or walked to the stadium. But just like with any other stadium, it is hard to walk around when they are traffic jams in the stadium. I feel like it's really bad here sometimes for some reason. The field is great. The seats are newish and not cracked or anything. The bathrooms are large but their always could be more. We came to our first Vikings game for the border battle between the Packers and the Vikings on 12/29/24. My husband said it was top 3 of best days of his life, and as a new football fan, it was an incredible experience for me too! The atmosphere was electric, the theatrics of the experience literally brought my husband to tears. As a lifetime Vikes fan, this will go down in his memory bank forever. We had fun at the longhouse and walking around the outside of the stadium before the game. We lined up to get in about 30 mins early and that paid off, plus not bringing a purse, we got in super quickly. We went to the fan store which was so packed we could hardly move but both found exactly what we wanted and left happy even though everything was incredibly overpriced. I mean the little plastic chain with a foam emblem was $45, and probably could have been bought at the dollar store lol but the cashier was super friendly. We went to guest services next and told them it was our anniversary and first game, and they gave us pins for both celebration events! That kindness didn't go unnoticed. On the way, we stopped for a Patron margarita cocktail, which cost $27 and didn't taste good but we figured we were going to pay an arm and a leg so we weren't too surprised but I would pass on that again. We ate the brat totchos which tasted about 7/10 and seltzers or beers throughout the game, but they also were overpriced. I guess that's stadium life! We ended up getting the anniversary gift pack to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary, and it was an easy and simple experience from start to finish. Our Memory Maker (which was such a cute name) texted to confirm our seats and delivered it with a friendly smile and a happy anniversary wish. The box itself was cute but not worth $150, again though it was a part of the experience so I was glad we got it. We both can't wait to come back for another game!! read more

I've had some great experiences at this stadium since they've renovated! The windows along the side give a great view of the city and perfect lighting for the whole place. I just went here for a corporate work event and we were able to go down to the field. It was so cool! The food for the event was also delicious and the staff was so friendly and accommodating! US Bank Stadium is the most gorgeous place to watch the Vikings game! Endless food options and everything is always clean.

It is an absolute nightmare trying to enter and leave the venue before and after a major concert. There are no maps either around the stadium or online that show the best way to exit or enter. There's only one escalator in the entire place that everyone has to use to get to their seats, plus the sound is awful. I brought my mom to the Paul McCartney concert last night as an early birthday present and the whole experience was a nightmare the sound quality is terrible, I could barely hear anything. Plus after the concert good luck getting an uber that won't cancel your ride because every street in the city is blocked off. I will never go to an event out here again. Please save your hard earned money and watch his concert on YouTube. It's a better experience. read more

Horrible stadium. Super narrow concourse, visually unappealing, uglier on the inside than the outside and that is saying something. People are crammed in and you can barely move by the entrances. I've been in hockey arena with a wider concourse and they tore that down because the concourse was so narrow (Joe Louis Arena in Detroit). read more

Great Stadium. This is one of the best sports venue I think. It is easy to get to by public transportation and very organized. The foods are great! We had the Banh Mi Brat at the Union Hmong Kitchen. it's definitely and elevated Brat with a twist. Watch out for those jalapeño they're so good but every now and then you get the really hot ones! The Cheese curd is okay it's not bad, but nothing special. Now the Wicked Dog. That's something you should get. It has wiener & cheese inside you can choose jalapeño cheese or cheddar. The venue is great and I've been a super fan for a long time. However, the stadium tends to suck the fun out of the experience because everything is sooooo expensive. I get it, you have to pay for it. However, they paid off the stadium last year with taxpayer funds. When I moved to Rochester, MN, I got cable TV with an enhanced channel package. I realized that only the basic channels appealed to me. I wanted to also watch NHL (hockey) games. I ended up cancelling the enhanced channel package and kept the basic ones. I then got a DirecTV satellite dish. I got a technician to install it. I also signed up for a channel package that had the NHL network included. This conversation happened over the phone between the DirecTV person and me. "You get the NFL channel with your package, so you'll never miss a game" he said. "I don't care about football. I want the NHL package," I replied. I was happy with my NHL setup. I never touched the NFL channel. I recall driving up to Bloomington one Sunday to visit Mall of America. It was super quiet. I then realized that the Vikings were playing the Packers. I was happy that traffic flowed. Getting laid off and moving back to Winnipeg changed my perspective on football. I got into the Canadian Football League (CFL) and attended many Bombers games, including the Grey Cup in Winnipeg. I understand football. It's not rocket science to me. However, if someone understands cricket, please explain that game to me. All I see is someone hitting a ball with a bat, and a lot of back-and-forth running action as if the player has gone mad. I like setting goals. I have seen the Twins and Wild play, but not the Vikings or Timberwolves. I decided to work on seeing the Vikings for the first time. I bought a ticket online and ended up in section 314 (pi!), which seemed fitting for a numbers person. I got my ticket digitally and added it to my wallet on my phone. I parked at Denison parking and took the skywalk over to US Bank Stadium. There were a ton of staff guiding folks. I went through security fine. You are allowed to bring a small bag. I'm so used to restrictive Xcel Energy Center regulations that I only bring a credit card, my car keys, and my phone. I went through fine. I needed the upper concourse. A female staffer let me know that I needed to go up a couple of floors and to use the escalators to my right. So helpful! I had talked to the owners of Pronto Pups the day before. They were envious that I was at this game against the Chicago Bears. The woman said that it's a pretty stadium with natural light coming in. She was right. I made it to the upper concourse and the view was stunning. I liked that the roof was glass and sloped. It was cheerful and bright. More importantly, there was purple everywhere, which makes this purple fan happy. I hit the concession stand. I got popcorn and a Diet Pepsi. I paid with a credit card and got my goods. Oddly, you don't get a lid for your drink. I did spill a bit of it en route to my seat. The sections and seats are clearly marked. I had no problem finding my seat. There are handrails up and down stairways. I sat next to the nicest woman with her friend to my right. One showed me the Packers score on her phone. "They lost. I'm so happy!" she said. The cheers in the stadium when the Packers score displayed on the screen said it all. Her friend looked at my popcorn and asked if it was yummy. It was, albeit liberal on the salt. I offered some because, hey, it's Minnesota nice for a reason. The cool thing about US Bank Stadium is that there is someone who controls various effects during the game. Folks in charge of them can queue up fireworks, fake snow, bubbles, and more. It was so cool to see and enjoy! I used the washroom a couple of times. The women's washroom was clean and nicely stocked. No complaints. The game was fun. It got exceptionally exciting towards the end when the Vikings sealed their win with a turnover and a touchdown. The skol chant and having a man lead the chant on a large drum was awesome! I found the Locker Room, which is the Vikings merchandise store. I got a Vikings cap. I'm into caps these days. I like that if I'm having a bad hair day that I can put a cap over the mess. Done! The halftime break featured America's Got Talent standout, Wyn Starks. He performed an original song and it was moving. I ended up seeing his interview live as part of the audience at The Jason Show the next day. I was trying to take a selfie, to remember this special day before I left. A female staffer offered to take my photo. Such a saint! I don't enjoy taking selfies and she did a great job fiddling with the light and focus on my phone to get several photos of me. I thanked her for her help. Leaving this stadium was straightforward. Staff wished us a great day. I appreciated how helpful and friendly they were. I found the skywalk and headed to my car fine. It's an impressive stadium. I had a wonderful experience. There isn't a bad seat in this house! I'd love to see a concert or another Vikings game here again. (427) read more

There are concessions, bar stands and beer stands, along with many different kinds of food on every floor. Along with various shops to get Vikings attire this place has just about everything. We took a tour of the stadium. We have taken many tours of stadiums and this football stadium was probably the best one we've seen so far. Really that there's not a bad seat in the house. Our tour guide was a really sweet lady. We had a big group and she did a great job answer answering questions given us the history talking about different things. We got to see every aspect of the stadium. We saw the locker rooms home and away the different clubs. She took us all the way to the top seats and all the way down to field level. We went out on the field. We got to take pictures. If you're ever in the area, this tour is definitely worth it. read more
