Walked into Target yes it's Saturday and yes it's tax free weekend, however, there is one thing to be understaffed but there were plenty of associates and clothes were thrown all over and racks a mess. Yeah--it was Target hiring a Satanist to design kids clothes (with guillotines)--will never set foot in another Target. Really Target? Really? Haven't been back since--in truth wasn't that fond of it, so easy to do. Almost no customer service, not well stocked, dirty and way more expensive than either HEB or Walmart. Way more! they don't restock items. they put them on the floor once and then never again. they won't even allow you to buy them online either.

This rating comes not so much from the store but from the personal experience I had with an associate. Jaelynn (sp) actually snuck up on me and asked if I needed assistance with anything. ( which in itself was awesome since I had passed many other associates who didn't even acknowledge me) I told her I had been looking for a stand mixer that showed online to be in stock, I looked, she looked to no avail. She then offered to go to the rear of the store and look, a few minutes later she returned empty handed. So I asked about another model, we looked around together and she again offered to go to rear of store, no luck again. The computer in her hand said they had these items well I finally broke and said what about this one, didn't want to spend $500 but it was for a 21 yr anniversary for my wife. I could tell she smiled under her mask when I told her that and she said she would go dig deeper in receiving and do her best. In the meantime I was wandering around and happened to notice a kitchen aid box on a big cart with nothing else but keurig boxes, I moved the coffee machines, pulled it out and got it opened and there was the teal colored professional plus 5 kitchen aid, jaelynn returned about this time and apologized but gave a "yay" when I showed her what I found. We spoke for a few, she is a wonderful person who ran all over target and dismantled receiving for this thing. She is awesome!! She congratulated me on my anniversary thanked me for coming, I thanked her for being great and I checked out and left. Best customer service experience I have ever had in midland! My husband and I stopped in to grab a few things for our brief stay in Midland. First impression was that the store seemed small, dirty and the parking lot was pretty crappy. We were able to find all the items we needed (snacks, drinks, etc). Shelves were stocked. While waiting in line to check out, we were told that since no one was waiting at the customer service counter, we could go up there to check out. This is what set this Target apart from others we've been to was the wonderful lady working at the customer service. She was just so friendly! While giving us our bags, my husband went to grab the bag with the wine. I joked, "Be careful with that one." And the customer service lady laughed and added, "Yes! That's the most important one!" The photos on the reviews are false. Some say uploaded by owner but this target does not have fresh produce and a large market? This target is actually very small, the base model of targets. Do not expect to see something on social medias "target hauls" and be able to find it at this one. The things that are there, are usually very cluttered or out of place. Looked like they might be remodeling. As it is, they were very understocked and I had to go somewhere else to finish my shopping. The aisles were only wide enough for one shopping cart. I had to find my cart in the parking lot as well. It was also dirty and disorganized. Very disappointed in this Target. Will try the one in Odessa next time. Maybe will give this one another shot in the future to see if it was a remodel and they might improve. read more

I actually like this target. While it is a bit small and really should look at expanding, due to size of town, it was well stocked and very clean. My cashier was extremely nice! I was even surprised all sale items were well stocked. Why 4 stars and not 5? Bathrooms were somewhat messy. read more

Worst target I've been to in my entire life. Now that I'm based out of Midland for work I'll be canceling my red card. The restrooms are always disgusting. If you go shopping after 6pm you'll be checking yourself out. I'm talking not a single cashier... ask an employee where something is at and they just stare blankly at you til you walk away. read more

This review is specifically about the Starbucks in this target. Staff is friendly and eager to please. I have been coming here everyday for my iced coffee for over a year now. I was going to market street up until that point. Overall great experience up until about three or four months ago.Very poorly managed. At least twice a week they are out of a main ingredient like half and half‍Target sells this so I go to the back and buy some to bring back to the Starbucks so they can make my drink. Also been out of iced coffee... if baristas are great like I'm saying then the question arises, why???? I'll tell you why, understaffed!!!!! How can one barista on a Saturday morning with a line to backed up to the target entry doors possible stop to make iced coffee. People leave the line or talk bad all the time as if it's the barista's fault! They are all so good and then they get pulled from Starbucks to stock shelves in the store! Also with only one employee I have come on a Sunday morning before church as always only to have to wait because it's closed due to only o e employee who is in a break. Shame on the manager!Get a better manager that can properly staff and keep the barista's in Starbucks where they have gotten to know the customers and know there drinks before they even say anything. Customer service e goes a long way!!!! We all know there is a drive thru 5 minutes away. Up until now it's been worth parking and walking despite bad weather. Great employees are key to any good Starbucks!!!! Stop stealing good employees away to work in target when you can hire off the street. You need more than one employee in the mornings. Nice to see there have been. Many improvements at this location. I agree in the recent past this location had become really unorganized and dirty. Today was different. Smiling staff willing to help. Lemon fresh restrooms (men's room to be exact) which is unusual at any store. And shelves were stocked. Now if the parking lot was a little cleaner and if the management would take time to notice that the front desk and registers weren't busy that try should do a little more to clean and sweep up the front end and vacuum the carpeting up front it would make for a really nice place to shop. read more

Went here the other day for some kid's pants. Was completely unorganized, baby, toddler and youth clothes all mixed up together. Only ONE brand of clothes in my son's size, when at other Target's I've never had a problem finding cute and thrifty clothes for any of them, cheapest pants were $19.99...not so much for a child that skins the knees up of his jeans weekly. I bought the wrong size sheets, I didn't notice I picked up double size rather than queen size. To make it worse, I washed them. 2 weeks after purchasing them. Then when I went to make the bed...they didn't fit. Am I through messing this purchase up??? Noooooo I threw the receipt away. Well I chanced it and took the sheets, hand folded, back to the return desk. The clerk of course asked for my receipt, ah no I grew it away. So in trying to find the code for reimbursement, the register locked up. ( the line behind me was 2 deep). So we all scooted to the next register. I told her I knew exactly where I picked them up, and I would be happy to run and get the correct Queen size and let her get the code off it. She agreed, so off I ran, and back to the register...while entering the code, that register locked up, (the line behind me was 5 deep). Well, this clerk, bless her heart, had us all move over to the last register. She entered in all the codes, my debit card number and bingo, she smiles and said, these are on sale!!! Not only did I end up with the correct sheets, I got money back. And I got a Have a nice day! What a trooper. Target, your my kind of store!! This place is not worth going to. I went here to purchase a chair and the price was clearly on the box. The cashier rang it up and it showed as a different price. The cashier called over a manager and the manager refused to let me purchase the chair. I explained to him that the chair had the price on the box itself, on the sticker in the aisle, and online. He said that they didn't honor online prices. If you are in the area, go to the Odessa Target instead, this one is worthless. read more

I have been to many Targets before and all of them were decent or just really great stores. But this particular Target was the most grossest Target I have ever been to. The women's bathroom had toilet paper all over the floor, the seats had blood on them and the sanitary disposal box was spilling over. Yuck!! The selection at the Target is so limited you are better off finding your item at Walmart. read more

This target is terrible. Very disorganized. The employees are either talking to each other about what they are going to do when they leave or what they did before the arrived. Not engaged at all. As we parked the guy gathering the baskets was glued to his smart phone for an extended period of time. As we walked in another employee was hiding her phone in a basket she was stocking shelves from. Most other employees were talking to each other in small groups. There have been several time that I have had to walk thru smoke from employees on break outside the front of the store. I will not be back. Target in Midland, Texas. I'm glad their getting a remodel, that allows more products to be seen and sold, Also they now have a Starbucks! Overall their Team Members are Extremely nice and outgoing, I recommend this location for everyone. read more
