I am extremely disappointed with my experiences involving AP Manager Marlo. Every time I visit this Target, she comes across as negative, rude, arrogant, and unprofessional. On multiple occasions, I have overheard her complaining about customers, which creates an uncomfortable shopping environment. Most recently, I had an issue regarding the distribution of Pokémon products. A team member provided incorrect information about purchase limits, which resulted in us missing out on products we should have been able to purchase. Instead of acknowledging the mistake or offering a simple apology, Marlo became defensive and openly complained about having to deal with the "bullshit of babysitting grown adults." This comment was highly inappropriate and unprofessional. Throughout the conversation, I remained calm and respectful. I was frustrated by the situation, but I did not yell or behave rudely. Despite this, I was told that I was "done speaking," which felt dismissive and disrespectful. Customer service starts with accountability. Mistakes happen, but how management responds to them matters. Rather than complaining about customers, Marlo should focus on providing professional leadership and ensuring her team is properly informed. Unfortunately, this interaction reflects a pattern of behavior I have witnessed from her over time. Her demeanor consistently makes my shopping experience uncomfortable, and I feel unwelcome whenever I encounter her. I hope Target takes this feedback seriously and addresses these concerns so that customers can feel respected and valued when shopping in the store. Target, please do better. read more

I was shopping with my son and daughter-in-law last night at target and we getting a large order of food and I was looking at kitchen where, my son was in the restroom and when he came out his wife was being arrested for shoplifting! She was merely looking for him and me, she knew that he had gone to the restroom so she was pushing the cart near that area when the security, loss prevention person came up and literally grabbed her by the arm and forced her to go with her to the office where she accused her of shoplifting! She didn't walk out the door!!! She was looking for my son who had the card to pay for her merchandise. Unbelievable!! They called the police and she had to go down to the police station!!! Was in watching area and went to this target to buy some formal/semi formal dress for my son: nice location. Right on rt 22.. lots of other stores in this location. Old navy , home goods etc . Lots of parking outside . Good location overall Was surprised to see that there aren't much options for kids dresses here . Adults have good range of shirts / pants etc and women too. But nothing much for boys . Had to go to old navy to find some good dresses for him son. Service is also average . Billing is a bit slow .. they have Starbucks inside . Good for coffee . Overall a very average experience.. 3 stars read more

The customer service department is a joke. No one will answer the phone and I've called about 40 times. At this point it's outrageous. I would say I understand, but I don't. I've personally worked in customer service in one of the most high volume stores you could imagine, where the volume of customers I dealt with on a daily basis was in the hundreds, and still I've never seen this happen. Shoot, Burlington has a better customer service department than these people. read more

They managed to make checking out even worse. Mid-afternoon on a weekday: ZERO cashiers and 4 self checkouts. I spent over $100 on mostly groceries so it took a minute. I'll go to stop and shop next time even though it's more money. This is ridiculous. read more

Small target but well stocked and organized in comparison to others. The parking lot gets full but otherwise I like the location.

I usually spot by here to look at the home decor section which is very hit or miss. I only stop by when I'm in the area.

Really really really did not like the aggressive cell phone woman that approached me and my 8 yr old niece in the toy aisle to talk about my cell phone plan. I probably told her 4 times I wasn't interested and was waking away from her into other aisles and she would not let up! read more

Sometimes the kids clothing and shoe section are super messy and not properly labeled with pricing, but thankfully they have price checkers everywhere so that solves that. My favorite thing to get here is the Fentimans Rose Lemonade, but I wish they would offer the pink ginger Fentimans drink here as it's my favorite! read more

They have plenty of expired food on the shelves. I went today 10.22.19 and picked up so many expired items, some of them over a month old. Wanted to see if I can actuall purchase some of them for the fracture of the price since sometimes if it's not too old the item is still good to use. I was able to do it the day before with 3 of yogurts and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. The manager, Wallie, told me she is not loosing her job over $50 and it's against NJ law. I said ' so I wasted all this this time and energy and did somebody job that's supposed to be pulling old things out of the shelves for nothing?' She said yes! I said you are going to throw away good food, this is such a waste, she said yes. She had and attitude, she took all the items from my shopping cart and put them in the basket and walked away. No apologies, no thank you, no kiss my ass, nothing! Extremely rude and unprofessional, no people skills whatsoever, thanx to this experience I will be avoiding this place with all coast. read more

I had purchased item online, and received an email stating that item was ready for pickup. I get to the store and they tell me that they cancelled my order (no email confirmation that order was cancelled). This item was the PS5...generally if order is cancelled, it will go from Processing Order to Cancelled...the fact that I got response that it was ready to be picked up and THEN cancelled..."someone" must have taken my order and then they decided to cancel my order. Great target location. Very conveniently located, and one of the few things open late in the area. This whole shopping center has a lot to offer but most thing shut down around eight or nine. I'll also say the staff here is very friendly. I had to pick up baby wipes and a phone charger spoke with one sales rep and she gave me accurate directions right away. Granted this might've been because it was late and not very busy at all but over all the staff was helpful and the store was clean. read more

Purchased my 1 year old a baby dress on clearance. Tag said 13.89. Rang up 19.99. Additionally razors i picked up said 5.99 but turns out all in the wrong place on shelf. I paid partially on gift card rest in cash. Before i even walked out store i went to guest services. When i attempted to exchange razors and get dress difference at guest services they resfused to give me back what i had to pay in cash and tried to give it all back on another gift card. Manager told me her system would not allow it. So i asked for a manual override to get my cash back. She said it was impossible. Then 30 seconds later said she had the option to. And when she said that i refused to let line move. Another 30 seconds later she got me my refund. She then asked me i dont know why you have to be so nasty? I worked in retail along time and i wouldve fired any one of my employees for asking why i was beibg nasty. I admit i started to get frustrated but in retail professionalism and politesness should of prevailed. Her unwillingness to initially help me out and conduct is the reason for my review. read more

Almost everyday I come here to see what's good, including today. This store is nice and clean, and the shelves are never messy. The employees are really nice, especially when you need assistance in finding something that you want. The prices are competitive, especially when they are on sale! Believe it or not, there were a few times when I needed to buy something without knowledge of the price, and when I got there, it was marked ON SALE. Such items included ketchup, coffee powder, batteries, and dumbbells. Some of those sale items weren't even listed on the flyer! That left me wondering whether or not the store was reading my mind in regards to what I thought about buying... :D Overall, awesome location! read more

The love I have for Target, particularly this location, is bordering on the obscene! The store is always clean, their prices reasonable (especially when they give you an additional 5% off your total purchase when you use your Target card). What distinguishes this special Target store from all the others I've ever shopped in is their customer service! Returns are super easy! One time I returned a lamp that was broken when I opened it. I took it back to the store and the guy even checked that the new one I got as an exchange was in perfect condition! When I can't find an item, they don't just tell you which aisle it's on, they walk you to it and make sure you got what you needed! You don't get that kind of service at Walmart. Hell, you'd be lucky to get ANY kind of service at Walmart! Sure it's cheaper but is that a price you're willing to pay for bad/non-existent service, messy aisles and just rude shoppers?! I've also bought glasses at the Optic center at this Target and they were very helpful and they made sure I got the best price. They have those nice plastic shopping carts, not those disgusting metal ones that make such a racket when you use them. It's pronounced Targèt. This place is always happening. Located in a busy shopping center it's pretty apparent on why traffic is high. Things are always in their place here and I never have an issue finding anything. It is also apparent that Target has made the grocery push and I do occasionally buy a few things from here. Not everything is a bargain so be careful but there might be a few things here that you may not find elsewhere. Only gripe I did have is I had some gift cards and the cashier did not know how to scan it. It happened multiple times until another cashier figured it out. With that the staff could be trained better. read more

As far as Target stores go, this is one of the best ones. Its not a Super Target, but it is still large and has an excellent selection as well as very good prices. Be sure to get a free Target card, you get 5% back on everything except pharmacy purchases. Its located in the Watchung Square Mall, so its fairly new and kept clean. Parking is never a problem. You can't always find staff to help you, but when you do they have always been friendly and helpful. The pharmacy here is very good, and a lot of generics are only $5. There is a Walmart at the other end of the mall, which makes price shopping easy on bigger purchases. read more

*3.5 Stars* When it comes to Target, this one is one of the better ones, sadly. It's clean, well let me add that I go when it first opens so everything is organized. The staff, never around but I never need their help anyway. Their prices and products are on par more reliable than Wm (you know, their competitor which I will never step foot in). The people seem to be more normal that frequent this one. I don't clothes shop but they look like they have a good selection. I have purchased furniture type accessories and have been pleased with reliability and price. What I don't like is I go in wanting to purchase a "couple" of specific items and walk out with several bags of stuff...and it never fails the bill is over $100 every time. Damn you Target with your marketing strategy and selection! Their grocery department is very large so you can pretty much kill your food shopping and misc shopping in one stop. So smart Target...you have caught up with the times. And no, I don't purchase groceries here so I am not sure if prices are good. Sorry. read more

I am the biggest fan of this particular Target store. I never thought I'd say it, but I literally cannot get over how classy they made this place. The store is unbelievably clean and organized. The products are all lined up on the shelves and well-stocked. The variety of brands and items is remarkable. The best part of the store is the decor area. Next time I need to furnish an apartment or living space, this is where I'm coming. There are two particular isles that appear to have been stocked by the leading interior designers in the country. I stood in the isle marveling at the beauty of the items. This Target recently added a food product area, kind of like a mini-supermarket. They have tons of great brands and some brands that you can't find in your regular grocery store. I hit the jackpot with Annie's brand snacks. The staff members are supremely friendly. Our cashier was peppy, made jokes, and gave us a discount just because! She made the experience that much better. Like I said before, I never would have thought I would put "classy" and "Target" in the same sentence. But boy oh boy, does this place deserve it. read more

Let me start off by saying I love target or should I say" tarjay"I have been shopping at this store since they came here from the Midwest formerly D. Hudson's over 12 years . I can only compare the Target stores in So. Fla. to the Target store I shopped in the Watchung. When I first walked into the Watchung Target it pretty much looked exactly like the one laid out in Boca. Once I strolled through the isles I noticed a big difference. The Watchung store doesn't have a lot of staff on their floor to help customers with questions or any merchandise. The staff that they do employee at their Watchung store all seem very angry and not at all happy to be there. It's like their doing you a big favor if you happen to find someone and need help. No one ever smiles or looks you in the eyes and just greets you with a warm smile or hello.They hardly ever have enough lanes open for their customers and the lines get backed up instead of the their supervisor on staff paying attention and opening up more lines when needed. Customer services is worse, they yell across the room to one another .I don't even think these people care or have properly been trained in etiquette, manners, or business . It's just like let me put my time in I get paid by the hour I don't care! Fast forward to the Fla store. It is clean, the staff is conscience,helpful and they smile I love the Target store in Boca it is well staffed and I never had to wait in long lines even during the Holidays. I will definitely continue to shop here but I hope things improve. The merchandise is excellent so is their food. They have great prices It's a shame I would love to give them five stars but because they can't hire good reliable help, and I had to wait in long lines , i am only giving them two stars! read more

Every time I have gone to this Target store the employees have all been so helpful and friendly. Not just in one department but everyone from returns to the dressing room attendant and cashiers were very nice. The store is clean and has always been well stocked whenever I have been there. This past trip, I was so excited to find snow clothes @ Target. Never seen them in the Target stores in California, even though we do get snow. read more

I have been shopping at this Target location since they opened. I have always been a big fan of this store until now. I saw a pair of slacks on a mannequin and asked an associate if he could tell me where I could find them on the floor. I had already looked around and didn't see them anywhere. He quickly scanned the tag and said they were the last pair, but he would call someone over and have them remove them from the mannequin. He also said they were busy, so if someone didn't come right away to flag an associate down and ask again. Ok, no problem. I eventually went and asked the woman in charge of the fitting room for assistance. She took one look at the mannequin and said no way could she disassemble it herself. Ok, fine. I said if you have another color on the floor I can try those on to make sure they fit before you take this mannequin apart. She couldn't find anything and walked away. I finally found the pants on a table. She then came back with another associate who told me they couldn't take the pants off because once they are on a mannequin, they are taken out of the 'system'. I told her not to b.s. me. She said she wasn't and suggested I go to another Target to buy them! Then the original woman helping me walks away mumbling she wasn't b.s.'ing anyone and she would get fired before she would take 'them pants off'. I have no words.... read more

Target never has advertised item. Even when listed as "in stock" on their own app which tells you what aisle the item is located, it is not there. Their help, including dept. manager and customer service manager know nothing and blame the internet for showing it! This is true of their Sunday ads as well. They are always out of stock. Ordering online and picking up is advertised extremely differently than the actual experience. Waiting online with returns and exchanges is not convenient and worse than shopping in store. I was told by the clerk that he does both. When I asked as I was leaving if this is the normal set up he replied that it was and another cashier corrected him and claimed someone called out. For a parent of an autistic child who cannot handle waits and other children crying if you are looking for convenience do not go here and think this service will be helpful in any way. read more

on 11/28/2019 I bought a GE heavy duty 24 hour timer. The shelf price was $10.29. At checkout I was charged $14.99. I thought at the time something was off about that, but did not have time to look into it and left. Today 12/8/2019 the timer died, so I went back to the Target and got another identical timer. The shelf price was $10.29. At checkout I was charged $14.99. This time I totally noticed and took the time to deal with it. The store employees were helpful and I was given a refund for the difference. However, this has happened twice. A quick google search shows that Target has frequently had to pay fines for overcharging customers and for having discrepancies between shelf price and checkout price. Buyer Beware. Everyone that I interacted with at this Target was great. I tried to buy a video game at five different stores earlier in the day and when I called this Target to see if they had it, the woman on the phone was very detailed and accommodating. When she told me they had the game in stock I was ecstatic as I half screamed on the phone. Though I did not ask the employee to put the game aside, she did, which I found extremely kind. During checkout she was also very easy to speak to and had no problem calling the price checker over. This great experience will certainly make me want to go back to this Target location for whatever I need. read more
