Inside an old factory whose owner employed Jewish workers during World War II to help save them from concentration camps (similar to the Schindler's List story), lunch here was our best meal while in Kraków. Here's why.
1) Food: The menu focuses on doing a few things well. Arriving around 11:30, we were given their breakfast/brunch. Filling, we ordered the new potatoes with jalapeños mayo and the "Toast"- an open faced sandwich with two kinds of cheese, a fried egg, pickled veggies, herbs, and buckwheat popcorn.
2) Drinks: Offering a wide range from coffee drinks to locally brewed beer. Their cherry cider is local and refreshing if you like hard cider and/or sour ales. It's delicious!
3) Space: It's historic and decorated with local art, murals, and plants. There's an outdoor courtyard too.
4) Service: It's kind, efficient and pleasant. read more
